Story

Summit Garage (Dudley) Ltd is a third generation family run business based in Dudley. Brothers John and Nick Newey operate their busy MG franchise from the Himley Road premise. Summit Garage have been selling, servicing, repairing, MOT ing and selling parts for MGs and Rovers for years. Summit take pride in the MG product and are happy to take on repairs of all makes of cars and light vans.
Founded in 1945 by Robert (Jack) Newey and his wife Olive, Summit Garage started doing general repairs and then moved into car sales, taking an Austin franchise in 1957. Today Summit Garage offers a friendly and reliable service, built up over 70 years. Give Summit Garage a try...the coffee is awesome and is FREE too :)!

Excellent service from the team at Summit. Both when buying and when there was a fault with the car. Came down to Surrey to retrieve, repair and then return it back to me. A factory production fault. Special thanks to Matt for figuring out the problem, which the local MG dealer could not do!!!
I bought a band new MG 5 from Summit and I could not be happier with the car, it is fantastic. After 9 months it developed what would've been a rather simple issue to resolve which was a leak from the rear windscreen wipers, but this then caused a few more serious issues with the electrical systems of the car and I had to get it seen to quickly. Summit booked the car in swiftly, made sure I had a courtesy car and fixed my car very quickly. I was extremely pleased with the service I received. I would highly recommend both the MG Electric range and Summit Garage.
From my initial enquiry through to eventual purchase I feel glad to have decided to use Summit. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable they have it all and Rachel does the sums in a blink of an eye. Plus the MG is superb and couldn’t have been better presented. In fact in the showroom all the cars look desirable!
We are first time MG buyers. Fantastic, friendly dealership with genuinely interested staff who are keen to be helpful. Looked after us really well after our previous non-MG car was stolen, and helped us to quickly get a replacement vehicle. We are now delighted with the quality and features of our new MG4 Trophy. This is the first time I have used Summit garage. I had a service and MOT. They were very helpful when booking up, making the price clear and appointment date and time. On the day they were very helpful, competent and efficient and the price was reasonable. The arrangements for the courtesy car also went smoothly.
First class service from Summit again. It is so refreshing to find a company who give such service, and genuine advice. All employees are polite, and informative and nothing is too much trouble. Happy to give highest reccomendation.
Exceptional customer service from the service team. I usually use the Wolverhampton garage but my car broke down the weekend out the area, Wolverhampton basically said there is nothing they can do until the end of February and I can't have a courtesy car until it's booked in until the end of feb leaving me completely without a car for 6 weeks. Even when I explained I couldn't do my job they didn't care! I called around several garages and basically was told it's tough, like it was somehow my fault the was a fault with the vehicle that's still under warranty. I called these basically in tears to see if they could do any better and wow they were so empathetic and helpful, They got my car booked in within a week, but after finding out I was without a car and couldn't work and had a bad experience with other mg dealerships as well as trying to get a courtesy car sorted they then ensured I was priority for cancellations as it was a non mover. Literally the same day after it was recovered to them, they called to say they had some time come free and they will look at mine, the next day it was fixed. MG need to take note of this team, as before dealing with this garage I was literally in the mindset of getting a new car with another brand. But I now realise it is not MG problem, the bad service is a dealership problem, as these guys were exceptional in rectifying problems my car was fixed easily and hassle free under warranty. My advice only use this dealership if local, as they are honest and have a deep sense of caring that the customer is happy.
I love Nick and the team here. They always look after my mini and Mr, nothing is too much trouble and I have never had one issue with the work on my car they go above and beyond. Thanks Summit
