Speedy we’re not the cheapest, but they have been completely awful. We paid for peace of mind, we have had nothing but trouble. New conservatory and French doors installed in July. Both are leaking, big crack to rear of house. Tradesmen who make you feel really uncomfortable and tell you conservatory leaks because of hot weather. Who try and install your conservatory base on 100 year old bricks found in your garden then talk down to you. We cannot believe how awful speedy are to deal with and how they do not own problems. Many many problems - it took 3 months to finish a 3 week build. We now face a lengthy battle with this company who say they put customer service first but really do not. They put themselves first. For months we said we were uncomfortable with one particular tradesman, they kept sending him. Today he is uncomfortable with us after attending awful leak through French doors which had damaged our newly installed floor and he won’t be coming back. Absolutely not a customer satisfaction first company. Speedy first company, customer simply an irritant. Video of water coming through new French doors and external finish to doors. In hindsight I went to work one morning with existing doors, came home to new ones “completely finished”. Shoddy job on close inspection today. Only 4 months since install. Shoddy and speedy. No one “technical” or “management” able to discuss today and despite waiting in all day for said tradesman to return with parts to fix not informed until 16:30 he won’t be coming and cannot advise when anyone will.. also do not answer own complaints procedure, only responded after months when chasing for final payment. We paid to get rid of them and move on, sadly the leaks mean we can’t.
Thanks to everyone at Speedy we now have a conservatory to be proud of. Our kids will absolutely love their new play room! What was once a complete disaster left by cowboy builders for over 8 months has been turned into a smart, contemporary living space. Communication from Magda and the rest of the team was excellent from start to finish. Everyone who worked on our build surveyor Ahmed, fitters Mark & Andy, Paul the plasterer, and the electricians were on time and worked non-stop, and the site was always left tidy at the end of the day. The team were always happy to answer any questions we had. Speedy have restored our faith in the industry. Thank you!
Conservatory built in 2021 with endless problem fitters, lasted 6 months before faults appeared. Damp walls, cracks, faulty glass. One wall and glass were fixed not without constant emails and calls. In Dec 22 water seeping through, other damp walls and through window. Emails and calls ignored. Fitter arrived a month later and made it worse. Emails/ Msges and calls to Greg and Leighanne- ignored. Neither of the owners have visited as asked, to see the extent of the damage. 2 weeks ago, another fitter- did not repair anything. Too much damage and no amount of sealer will fix it. More emails and calls- ignored. The company have all photos. Reluctant to go public on this. The company claim of customer support, systems in place and guarantee are grossly negligent statements. I am still waiting for the significant damage to my house to be repaired.
We are very happy with our new living space. Took slightly longer than originally told, but delays weren't always in Speedys control. Brett was brilliant, he delivered on everything he said he would, always managed expectations and worked hard and too a very good standard throughout. Darren the plasterer did a great job, thanks also to Magda for being so helpful and responding to query's all throughout the build. Would recommend and use again.
Speedy done an excellent job with firstly knocking down our old conservatory , digging out the foundations which was a massive task as we live on a hill. Most importantly creating an extra living space for the family, great team Steve, Jason , Brett all worked extremely hard to build a cracking conservatory.
I can’t recommend Brett & his team more highly! They managed to meet our deadline by working hard and being dedicated and ensured the project albiet 'speedy' finished up with the highest workmanship. I have to also commend on their etiquette when working in and around our home, they finished everyday with a tidy space where possible and if we came across problems, Brett remained calm for us and always found a solution, even with laughs along the way! We absolutely can't thank Brett & Jordan enough! We love our new space and would recommend Speedy Build Ltd! Thanks to Ahmed too, who supported the sales process of our extension with ease from start to finish. Also, a final thanks to The rest of the speedy team behind the scenes who made it all come together.
I Have a tricky access to my garden which all other companies refused to do because it was so high off of the ground. The companies that did price this were so expensive i'd lost all faith in having works done but speedy came to the rescue. They built me a wonderful new room. I can now sit and watch tv without the Mrs in my ear which was worth every penny. Thanks so much Speedy!
Have used Speedy to do a couple of home improvements. The recent being a new composite door and window panels which were looking rather tired. Got good advice on different styles and the pros and cons of everything from Mark and we are pleased with the result.
We couldn't be happier with Leighanne and her team at Speedy : We were looking for an extension but access was difficult and had a strict time deadline. We came across Speedy with one of there brochures in the post and did a bit of reading up speed bases and decided it was the best option for us having got 4-5 quotes off other builder who wanted to dig foundations. So glad we came across Speedy, the team of Luke and Wayne were very professional, skilled and friendly all the way through the project and worked very hard to get the project done is super quick time. Approx. 6 weeks start to finish! Their communication was excellent, telling us exactly what stage they were at at all times and at the end made sure everything was perfect, leaving nothing undone, everything tidy and ready for us to paint! Thank you, we would 100% recommend.
Speedy Conservatories provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. Mark explained how the project would proceed, he was both thorough and professional. The contractors arrived on time, and we were very impressed with their first class workmanship, Very friendly and it was a pleasure to have met Ricky and Dean.
