Studio36 is a fully equipped, purpose built Pilates and well-being centre situated in the Craigantlet Hills. Classes and 1:1 sessions run all week.
Studio36 opened in September 2006 and is the brainchild of Alison Lyons, a Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist and Body Control Pilates Teacher. The studio runs matwork Pilates classes, one-to-one sessions and small group classes everyday of the week (except Sunday). Alison was joined in 2010 by Susie Rea, Body Control Pilates Teacher, and more recently by Stephanie Pruzina (State Registered Physiotherapist and Body Control Pilates Teacher) and Judi Schmidt (Body Control Pilates Teacher). The studio has expanded to include Batuka/Yoga and Mindfulness classes and a number of workshops and seminars are hosted throughout the year.
The studio features an American oak sprung floor, floor to ceiling mirrors on all the walls, air conditioning, fully disabled access to the studio and a washroom/changing room and a private car park. It is an ideal location for small conferences with a LCD projector screen and sound system available for hire and catering for lunch/refreshments by arrangement.
Studio36 is fully equipped with the latest Pilates apparatus including two reformers, a trapeze table/cadillac, a combo chair and ladder barrel. We also have, for use by a full class, therabands, spikey balls, foam rollers, gym balls, toning circles, hand weights and Triad balls.
