This morning we had an appointment with Dr Sabir Zaman and he was polite and very professional. Straight away he proceeded to give advice and guidance and arranged for an X-ray and ultrasound for my wife who has been having great pain in her hand and he told her to keep up with the voltarol until a care plan is created on results of her test results and the nice touch was he asked my wife if she would like to speak English or Bengali which suited my wife. From receptionist to Dr great service and only because we couldn't get our appointment at our registered GP.
Got an appointment same day when I filled out the booking form. Dr.Anisa Ahmed was warm and very helpful, made me feel at ease. The receptionists were great as well, significantly better than when I first started with the practice, I’m assuming the practice read reviews and made changes.
Our family was registered with Strouts Place Medical Centre for almost 2 years and I feel like we have received really good care. The GPs have been great, very kind and thorough, they call you within the day and try you twice so it is really convenient. I have had to have prescriptions done as an emergency during my pregnancy and the team of receptionists were really helpful in arranging this. We also had to register our newborn in emergency as he was unwell and the team arranged for us to see a GP within a couple of hours and registered our baby at the same time. So overall, very pleased with the care we have received from the GPs and with how the team helped us with urgent situations twice. Thank you for everything!
I normally do not leave reviews but i felt as if i have to. I have not had any issues with the doctors per se in this practice. I have been a patient here since i was 8 years old i am now almost 24. I believe that respectfully the service manager needs to reevaluate the candidates he is choosing for the role of the receptionist. I value and respect their work which is why im shocked that their service is so so poor. I have encountered horrible from them on numerous days. In specific and i apologise as i have not been able to catch their name, but the 2 ladies, one that is fairly middle aged and wears a hijab and the other lady who has highlights in her hair were vile and disrespectful. There is a way to speak to people especially people who are seeking medical help. By all means they are allowed to read out the rules of the practice but the tone in which they speak in is so important. Speaking over patient or speaking VERY loudly about patients is very disrespectful. I was sitting in the waiting area and i could hear the conversation snd they did not care they carried. I don't suppose this will go anywhere but i am appalled and frankly disappointed .
I am registered at this clinic and have previously left a review saying how happy I was with Dr Talat and his sisters. I would like to ask ?? Why do I have to be subjected to the rudest bloody reception team in Bloody London???? Where do you think you are? I have undergone cancer ? I am on an insane regiment to loose weight so I can ubdergo a life saving bilateral mastectomy and I my weight loss aid is not automatic I have to bloody call in every month and have to speak to these egocentric receptionists who cannot speak clearly or use polite English.. I am sorry, I used to be an English teacher the English is appalling no customer or patient service or care so rude, it leaves me scathing. I worked very hard my whole life paying my taxes like everybody else and to have these rude women treat me like trash and demand I do this and do that. Where are your manners ? Dr Talat you and your sisters are educated people? Do you care ? Or is it the NHS funding that’s more important. Do they treat your family and friends this way when they call? Sometimes I just want to give up.. Do bloody better and get training for your language challenged front of house! It’s imperative.. #disgusting #dobloodybetter
Worse experience ever on Saturday out of hours, I left my house on time and got caught up by a police incident traffic and couldn’t make it on time, I was 14min late, they can see you within maximum 10min lateness. There was only one person waiting and it was empty. I was in pain and the receptionist could see and hear the pain in my voice she tried helping asking the doctor but she refused to see me. I had no other option as my gp was closed. A&E wouldn’t class it as emergency. Never again will I accept an appointment there out of hours.
I would give 0 stars if i could. Some doctors in the surgery are decent and do their best to help, which is appreciated. But every single receptionist, some of the doctors and physiotherapist are so incompetent i cannot believe it. Especially receptionists are some of the rudest people I have ever talked to. They will hang up on you, not call back as promised, do their very best not to be helpful, and with the rest, they don’t get the simplest tasks done even after chasing them up many many times. Absolutely unbelievable. They will avoid taking responsibility for anything to their last breath. The worst medical care I have ever received in my entire life, and I have been through a lot. Complaints will be filed. Please do yourself a favour and do not register with this surgery.
Wow …. There is nothing wright about this GP surgery. Firstly you must convince the receptionist that you are in need of seeking medical attention after going through an intense interview process, then you just wait. Gang of receptionists ignoring the phone ringing, one of them pick up and respond, “GP SURGERY PLEASR HOLD”. Back to their gossip. This is whilst the engagement manager JOHN ISAAC and business manager AREEF RAHMAN few metres away. Extremely poor Leadership, I would suggest sack both managers and replace the whole reception team. I have decided to leave and join another surgery Good luck of you are a patient at this surgery.
Impossible to get an appointment regardless if is urgent or not, nobody would pick up the phone, then when you email them they would say that you have to call every day until a spot becomes available, receptionists are extremely rude, incompetent and unhelpful, they just couldn’t care less and they have no clue what to do! SMEAR test was the most horrible experience, I was in tears as it was extremely painful and I have been told that if I was crying for this what I would do when I’ll have to give birth… absolutely unacceptable! Don’t have much experience with doctors as it is impossible to see one, so had to go private most of the time.
Rudest receptionists I have ever known. Avoid this surgery just because of the receptionist issues. Compassion 0/10 Listening and comprehension 2/10 Friendliness 0/10 Empathy 0/10 Avoid avoid avoid!
