Spent a lovely few days at Stretton Lakes in November, what a beautiful place, the lodge was so well kept, spotless and really cozy, couldn’t fault it. The surroundings are just as beautiful and so peaceful. Definitely be visiting again !! Thank you for making are stay wonderful xRooms: 5/5
This was our second time staying at Stretton Lakes and already looking forward to our next visit in 2023. The cabins are such high quality and despite pretty poor weather outside they always help make your stay a really cosy one. The management are really friendly and can't do enough to make sure your stay is just right. As ever its a great base for exploring the local area with local towns of Stamford and Oakham well worth a visit as well as Rutland Water for walks and cycling and hidden gems like Gates Farm Shop near Oakham a great way to spend a couple of hours when the weather is poor.

I came fishing for the first time here on the match lake. It has well set out pegs with islands down the Middle at pole range and comfortable to fish. Well stocked too. There was no litter and bins provided. All set in a picturesque valley with lodges.i had a great day. See you again thank you.
Simply the best, the brochure photos don't show the true beauty of the lodge, our lodge "poppy" is far better than the photos suggest. Excellent is the word.
Peaceful setting, I only went for the fishing, which was very good, fished the match lake which was quite busy but plenty of room to social distance. Mixed fishery, I caught bream to two pound, common and mirror carp to eight pounds, even better is the cost 4 pounds for senior, 6 for others. You can hire lodges here, or bring your caravan as there is a 5 van C. L. site. Both include free fishing. Enjoy.!
