"At Strawberry Hill our quest started when we were trying to find healthy Carribean food to eat with no additives as 90% of the food we buy is drenched in oil and is full of MSG and E numbers which is not healthy for our bodies.At Strawberry Hill we use no added oil in any of our dishes except for our fried food. We only use natural spices and herbs and some of the best oils such as rapeseed oil and olive oil. We only use Himalayan salt and sea salt."

Stew chicken far too salty unable to eat. Very small portion of Mac cheese. Mistakes also made with order. Will not be using them again. Ruined our evening completely. It’s a shame as they used to be good. Maybe theres a new chef? Extremely poor customer service, lady rude and unapologetic for making an error . This place has gone down hill.
Such a fabulous place. Reasonable pricing too - what's not to love!? The portion sizes are decent even for a man. I've been coming here now for at least 4 years, they never fail to have something to offer. The customer service is always amazing the lovely lady that's always serving is genuine and always happy to help. They've recently renovated, so there is somewhere to sit down and eat now. Saving the best till last, the food for me is always on point. Personally tried the beef/cheese patty which if it's there is amazing, the sticky chicken wings delicious, curry goat, oxtail, ackee & saltfish, chicken soup, the punches drinks MMMmmMMMmmm...I could go on and on; honestly I would say HANDS DOWN, the best Caribbean in the area.
Delivery time was good, HOWEVER the food was heavily salted and in a burger like box for £11.28 on Uber eats! It’s SO SALTY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
We just tucked into our first order and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Ordered a variety of dishes and nothing disappointed xx
22/1/23 After spending over £100 on Deliveroo, 3 days in a row. On the 4th day I thought I would go into the shop for a take away. I left this place a 5 star review and highly recommended them to people. After todays experience I would recommend everyone avoid this place. I was told to get out of the shop as the young lady refused to wash her hands before serving me food. I would have spent £50 in there today and probably ordered again tomorrow. How many customers has she done this to I wonder? She said she did not care and waved her hand in front of my face and told me to get out of the shop. She also tried to add on £2 extra to whatever I wanted. Very strange as that was not the price. I asked for an ingredients list she said she did not care and did not know. I have allergy’s and need to know what I am buying. Terrible place. Never again.
Genuine West Indian Food. Served quickly. Decent portions at fairly reasonable prices. My favourite is the "curry goat". Parking: On a busy road. No parking
The score for this place surprised me. Nothing but excellence everytime I order on Uber eats. Meat is always tender, well seasoned and plentiful i always order boneless curry goat because im lazy and cba to remove meat from bones lol. Mac and cheese never misses, good sharpness and different cheeses. Rice and peas are coconuty just the way I like it, not too dry. All my friends agree too. Never visited to sit in, but strawberry hill has very quickly become my go to order when I'm feeling like Caribbean at home. Recommend to everyone who lives in the area after cycling through the different options, I'm glad I've found a spot that delivers quality consistently. Luvvvvvittttt.
I give 1 star because there is not option for zero…. Went to eat in for the curry goat but we left immediately the place…. Really dirty and zero customer service
I think it’s a shame for all of the poor reviews because I have never had a problem with the food and service. I can really recommend the Ackee and Saltfish coleslaw and Fried Dumplings. The Sweet Chilli Chicken Wings were all delicious and fresh. Thank you Strawberry Hill
Jerk chicken is nice Pepper prawn nice but prawns need to be cleaned please!! First time eating hard boiled dumplings and it was nice. Would I order from here again ? Yes I’ve ordered twice and I would order again BUT THE DELIVERY TIME IS BAD I WAITED 1hr+ Food presentation is 8/10 Taste jerk chicken 10/10 Jerk chicken sauce 5/10 Pepper prawns was nice like I said but because they r the pop and tings I’ll say 5/10
