Ordered from Uber eats. I ordered plantain, red pea soup, veg curry, rice and peas, a salt fish fritter and two veg patties. The rice and peas, veg curry and red pea soup were nice. Nice authentic flavours. You get a good amount of plantain, but they’re soaked in oil unfortunately. The salt fish fritter tastes odd and has a chewy, tough texture, like they’ve been sitting out for a looong time and don’t taste like the normal Jamaican fritters I’m used to. I had to throw it away in the end The patties didn’t arrive!! Also not everybody knows what’s in a Jamaican red pea soup, so would be helpful to add a description online.
Absolutely banging!!! took a group of young people here and asked the staff to pick a spread of food for us - they picked so well it was all soooo tasty! Friendly service and all the dishes were presented so nicely. Definitely coming back!Food: 5/5
Food is banging with so many authentic options. Flavours bursting. I got the curry goat, rice and peas with steamed veg. Most Jamaican restaurants won't be cooking up with a glee on their face but best believe they gonna deliver you the best plate u have ever had. £13 for the lot, definitely got a new regular.Food: 5/5
Being greeted by 2 smiling ladies behind the counter pretty much set the tone for my experience at this place. I ordered the stew chicken, curry crab, a portion of jerk wings, rice and peas and plantain. The food was delicious, very well balanced. The vibrant colours and presentation matched the fantastic flavour. You can really tell that the chef really cares about his craft. Definitively worth trying if you’re in the area. You can dine in like I did but it’s limited seating or take a trip for takeaway or ordering online. Very happy tummy!
I came to Yum Yum Caribbean Cuisine today for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of food on offer. I got curry goat and plain rice, vegetables and a portion of plantain, and a bigga fruit punch to wash it down. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so so friendly and very very polite. I honestly will definitely be back again as the food was so good and I would definitely recommend that everyone comes to Yum Yum and experiences their food themselves. You will definitely not be disappointed.

First time dining here for lunch and certainly won't be my last. Food was 10/10 giving Michelin style presentation. Staff are lovely and accommodating and Manager makes you feel so welcome. My new lunchtime spot.Food: 5/5
Wow! Have had take aways in the past but today did a lunch time sit down and was blown away. Presentation - on point, Food - a true taste of back home, VFM - . The Manager/Head Chef is so personable and attentive, definitely a place "to fill yuh belly buss"Food: 5/5
