This the first hairdresser I tried in Oxford as it was most reasonable on prices, since then (year) I regularly come back to get my hair cut here. They do an amazing job no matter who cuts your hair! They are very critical and offered consultation on the styling of my hair without any added costs. 

They’re also very accommodating on walk in as I haven’t really booked at all for my haircuts. 

Most recently, I have had my hair bleached and dyed grey here and they blew my mind!! They managed to achieve the most ideal colour with blends of blonde and grey intertwined. Both me and them were wowed together, I had to come back the next day to touch up a few things but other than that it’s been fantastic! Again, this was a walk in. I also paid half the price I was expecting to pay! Saleem did the hair colouring and most of my cuts. 

It’s a very friendly atmosphere with lovely staff! Definitely recommend this place!

Such a lovely salon! Amazing employees and so welcoming, lots of options for nails, hair and eyelash extensions. 100% recommend! Couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much to the Strand team for always making me so welcome and doing the best job :) xx

Although the people here are friendly, it is important to be very clear about what you want.  I was not understood when I asked for a bob with the outer hair longer at the back than the underneath layers so that it would hang neatly.  Instead of this I was given a wedge cut at the back which is so short that it is going to take 2 months to grow before I can do anything about it.  I am devastated.

I usually have my eyebrows done with Sally she has excellent service and a lot of expertise, with consistently good results. I would definitely recommend!

I have been coming here for about 18 months. My hair is always cut by Salim who consistently does an excellent job. He has his own suggestions for what will best suit your hair and face etc, and I am always very happy. Would definitely recommend.
