I've been using this salon for about 2 years now and anytime I've had to go somewhere else I've realised no ones else really compares. I've tried many of their treatments (eyebrows, facials, waxing, lashes) and all treatments have been a positive experience. TAO has a very clean (important!) and relaxing environment. The staff are very professional and friendly which makes all the difference. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I’ve had a range of treatments with Tao.  Good therapists who know what they are doing, nice rooms and good central location.  I have never had them try to hard sell the products or persuade me to have other treatments.  I can recommend them.

Extremely happy with the waxing i had done at Tao today. Clean, thorough,  very professional, lovely staff. Can see why the salon has been established for so long.

This is my favourite beauty salon in Oxford - really professional high quality treatments (my favourites are Zoe for gel nails and Carly for massage). They're usually busy so it's best to book but also always really happy to help you get a treatment at short notice.

So unfortunately my usual pedicure parlour was fully booked for the day. So I had to try Tao Beauty Salon out as I have a event to go to the next day. Now I am totally DISAPPOITED! I know what a pedicure is clearly & it's not the first time I'm getting one. But the experience I had today was just a waste of time, money & treatment. It's called a pedicure in there terms but actully it's just washing the customers feet cutting the nails and putting some cream on. I wasted 35 mins of my time at this place. And being told it's a 50mins treatment but being done in 35 mins was just shocking. There was no making a effort to a pedicure. Basically you go in, sit on a wooden chair and put ur feet in a foot spa that actully does NOT even work properly. While having the treatment done the foot spa machine kept over bubbling, causing the girl to keep turning it off. She made me leave my feet in there for less then 2 mins & then I had to stretch right up to her sitting height & keep my leg at her chair height while she clipped my nails. This was so painfully! You spouse to relax when having a pedicure not be in pain. There was no effort made on the dead skin of the feet or on the heels. Cuticles were done in 3-4 mins of each foot & I can't even see no difference. Also, because I had no saddles the girl that was doing my testament wanted me to buy some flip flops for £4 so the nail varnish don't get ruined. What I don't understand is?!?!? Why she couldn't just let the nail dryer dry my nails then it would be perfectly fine to wear my shoes. But she just kept insisting to buy the flip flops for the varnish or she was willing to not do it, that put me off the whole treatment. Also not to forget, when I told & requested to work more on my heels she kept answering back sharply saying it takes time for this to clear! But I ain't stupid if she worked harder and had the right equipment this could've been done. I have come out of there with nothing! She talked more and the whole treatment lasted 10mins. Totally & utterly DISAPPOITED! Never recommending this place to anyone! The staff was not willing to give its full effort on the treatment & they are using the wrong equipment! Don't waste ur time here. Cuz I'm just furious at paying and wasting time on a ZERO result!!! I wouldn't even give them the one star!!
