Terrible experience today for the first time, following attending the salon for the last 10 yrs.
I was refused a hair cut following my hair being coloured ( I was informed I have nits) which I must have caught form my young children. The issue I have is I wasn’t given to option to cancel the appointment as the colourist decided to colour my hair and inform me when she had finished that she found a couple of nits and the manager refused to cut my hair.
The service from then onwards was appalling. I was left with a big hair drier left for nearly 10 mins, clearly nobody wanted to be near me or explain what was happening.
I was visibly very upset crying in the salon and the neither the manager or staff showed any compassion or understanding.
The manager did blow dry my hair, but I was v unhappy with the end result which she didn’t seem to be bothered about. I left being very upset and took me over half an hour from leaving the salon to compose myself before meeting my 3 children.
This was supposed to be a treat with some pampering, if I was given the option to cancel the appointment when the colourist found the nits, I would have decided to postpone to the following week, following treatment, so I could have the whole experience and satisfactory level of customer care.

Sadly after all these years, based on how I was treated, I will never return. I was left to leave v upset with the situation being unresolved, and £86 worse off!

I have been going to Brothers salon in Oxford for many years and they never stop impressing me!! The staff are all so friendly, attentive and really know their stuff. They are great for advice about what styles would suit your hair type and the right products to make the most of your locks. 
Went in for a cut and colour today with Amie and as ever wasn't disappointed, came away feeling pampered with a beautiful new cut and colour and lots of advice on how to wear the style with my natural curls. Thank you Brothers Oxford.

I expect the service to be better comparing to the price. They rarely even make an eye contact with me. They were not attentive at all, they just asked me for my hair type and I didn't even finish my sentence before they ran off (it was not that busy- Wednesday morning).   I guess it was because that I am not their regular customer as they were more attentive to other customers. I went in for a conditioning treatment and it was literally just applying conditioner for a period of time, plus you would have to get a blow dry service to finish it off. Definitely not coming back.

I love this salon. 
I'm super fussy about my hair and have had so many awful cuts in the past it's a blessing to have Brothers (and especially Chessi!) in Oxford. I've been going for a few years now and absolutely worth every single penny. 

Chessi has cut my hair half a dozen times now and I come away feeling amazing every time. I could kiss her combs for the fantastic styles she manages to whittle my thick, uncooperative hair into. 
My latest cut and blow dry I had her cut it all off and she's done an absolutely lush job, I could wax poetic about her all evening.
