Lovely place to visit either as a family, couple or on your own. Lots of different trails to explore and loads of fun activities for the kids. Beautiful picturesque place; would highly recommend visiting.

Nice little country park. Good to have a walk around with the kids. It's not huge, but it is a reasonable walk for little legs. You can even take a picnic if the weather is suitable. The car park isn't great and probably lets it down a bit.

I hadn't been here for years, because I'm always drawn to the moors, but popped in late one afternoon a few weeks before Christmas. I'm very glad I did because I saw (finally!) my first kingfisher. Parking here isn't free, though it's not extortionate, and it looks like it gets pretty busy. Definitely worth a visit though. Walk around the lake, reading the Ted Hughes poetry on the posts as you go, and keep a good look out for the wildlife!

Paths could be better, dogs should be kept on leads when on main paths. On whole a good area to walk in

What a place to discover. Great walks, loads of walk and don't forget the airiel walkway. £3 to park all day and even a Molly Mac icecream van. Does life get any better. Well worth a visit
