Good sized town Park well kept with a variety of plants. Nice walk for my dog but should be on a lead please.

Very pretty well kept park. We bring the little one to the play area. Only problem, in the summer some of the play equipment is metal e.g. slide and train, it gets too hot too touch! Cane here in the summer to listen to music on the band stand. Lovely day hope more events like this planned for next summer!

Good place to go for a walk with the dog, wait for the train, take the kids, or eat lunch. There are public toilets here, a bus stop and a train station just infront, an outdoor exercise class meets here most days, there are 2 different flower gardens complete with a Lilly pond, and there is occasional live music at the bandstand. Great park at the heart of this town.

A nicer place to spend a 20 minutes' wait for your train than the platform. Some nice wildlife planting with information boards. The park seems to be well used, parents and children pass through before and after school. Tidy and reasonably well kept given that local authorities have been cut to death.
