They have always been great with me and my family. Obviously if you ring and its not an emergency its normally 1-2weeks for an appointment.nBut they always try their best to fit you in if really needed.nI've heard how they are spoken to by some people but they still help them!!!
Honestly this place is very good. Waiting times are a little long but that's a nationwide issue, not the surgery's fault. Helpful receptionists, knowledgeable, and honest when they are unsure of something. Always helped to point me in the right direction, and helped to send me to different doctors for separate issues. The Women's Healthcare specialist is fabulous, Dr. Karim is genuinely caring and a great listener. I really wish the staff here were given better facilities because they are a credit to this community. The pharmacists next door are so friendly and helpful too.nnWould have given 5 stars, but every GP service in the country is criminally underfunded, so naturally unable to reach their greatest potential.
Never had any problems & staff always been very pleasant. Until recently I've been with the same doctor for almost 30 years & that continuity has been why I've nothing but praise. My last medical contact with the surgery was with Dr Stafford, I spoke to her at 9am, told to call round, checked over by her & Rachel, immediately sent by taxi to the hospital, up there until 9pm, lots of repeated tests, all in 12 hours. Fantastic. Why all the 1 star ratings? Can't understand it.
I had difficulty with my prescription, online services kept crashing Everytime I went on. I asked for a paper prescription when I picked my pick up, this medication is repeated I was not given this, pharmacy explained to speak to gp.nI phoned the pharmacy to say I've completely ran out of my inhaler, i definitely need an emergency today- go to Gp they said. Short story - refused to prescribe me a needed medication despite my explanation of I know it's not normally done on the phone etc but I'm having trouble. 9 times I rang them today going back and forth, I managed to get a pharmacy to help me and they rang the gp for me from their end told me to go to pharmacy at 5:30 prescription would through on the system. Arrived at the pharmacist no prescription ready, hasn't been sent through from gp side.nI rang again the 11th time and explained the situation, told I had to wait for gp to sign of perfectly understandable but told me it would be ready as a one off emergency then proceed to tell it would be ready for 6 when the pharmacy they are sending it too closes at 6 I said if they close how I am supposed to get this emergency medication I've spent nearly 5 hours fighting to get.nLong story short, I was spoken to in vulgar ways by more than one member of staff who accused me and the pharmacy i went to ;of lying.nI got upset so my partner took over the call, getting no way, the pharmacy stayed open longer than needed to try and help but nothing, my partner expressed that what if I had an asthma attack or needed to go to a&e because I have no medication which they could of sorted out hours ago before and refused? Said it wasn't my problem nSo basically saying jn a nut shell, if you can't breath or stop breathing, despite telling us you need medicine that we could have prescribed and prevented 5/6 ish ago it wasn't there problem.nImagine me sitting in A&e telling them I'm there because gp won't help me prescribe my medicine.nI appreciate protocol and procedures, busy times etc, and I too add I am normally very on top of my medicine but on this occasion I have ended up with difficulties, ran out unexpectedly being busy, didn't realize how low I was but they had more than appropriate time to help me get some medicine, it wasn't five minutes before they shut.nAbsolutely applaud of the attitude I've received, the way I've been spoken to and the lack of curiosity and compassion. Blaming me for their failures and telling me it's all recorded like I'm in the wrong. Will be changing gp surgery asap
If I could give zero I would ! I've had chronic pain for going on two years ! The last six months have been agony for me , I have swellings in both wrists , foot and neck ,in constant pain , had bloods all clear ,had x ray on one wrist ,clear. Dr Chowdray said I'm a mystery and to basically learn to live with it! I'm in tears every day , I need a referral or at least an mri scan but not even offered ! I'm now changing gp surgery as I've had enough and I will be taking my complaint further as this surgery is a joke !
