I'm usually as fit as a flea but last week I had shortage of breath for no reason. Phoned the surgery at 4pm, promised a call back later. Within the hour I spoke to a doctor, an appointment was booked for the following morning, I was seen bang on time, had a thorough check up, diagnosis, & briefing about the course of tablets. Getting back to normal now. My treatment was all you would wish for.
If I could get away with giving 0 stars I would. As a new member of Kearsley Medical Centre i am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from them today! The receptionist who I came across this morning, at my appointment time was rude! Had the cheek to tell me I was late for my appointment after standing in the que for 5 minutes. Then rolled her eyes at me telling her, I didn’t have a mask. Then to have to go for a health check booked in prior to joining this practice, to have my blood pressure checked only and her staring at me for me to ask ‘are we done’ I must of been in the room not even 2 minutes. Was no health check at all. To then be told my repeat prescription from my old doctors had been sent to the pharmacy across the road which they wouldn’t repeat the prescription until I saw the lady and had waited over a week for this appointment to only be more disappointed going into the chemist and not being registered and having no prescription sent over!! Complete utter waste of time and nothing but disappointment! I’ve waited a week for an appointment to still not have my prescription that I need asap and to be looked at like you have a TV on your head. No communication and not professional one bit. On the bright side the only lady that’s a credit to the team and has been helpful over the phone is a lady called Jade.
Appaling service, my partner had a telephone appointment booked for 6:30am this morning, booked by a receptionist! Having got up extra early by 7:45am and no Doctors call she eventually got through to be told a mistake had been made and they meant next Thursday, my partner explains to the receiptionest that that's no good as we will be away, she politely asks to speak to a doctor, shortly after she gets a message from Doctor saying there's no need for me to call you as there's nothing wrong with you!!!!! Unbelievable
We only came here to ask for some help regarding CCTV and honestly, i have never come across a receptionist so rude, entitled and obnoxious. She was more concerned about making us put on face masks before engaging in any form of conversation, she stepped away to ask a manager about CCTV and then asked us to step aside to deal with other customers for us to then be simply told they couldn’t help us 10 minutes later - why not just inform us of that when you returned to reception from asking your manager? While we were waiting she was so bothered about this one gentleman’s mask being over his nose while and mouth while talking to him that she repeatedly couldn’t hear what he was saying and he was essentially sharing his personal business to the whole reception area as to why he was there. I felt so bad for the gentleman, completely unacceptable. This woman needs a masterclass in customer service and should learn how to talk to people in a polite manner minus the chip on the shoulder. After all, judging by the other reviews here it seems to be a regular occurrence! Do better Kearsley Medical Centre.
I’ve been trying to get through to them to book an appointment for about a week. The one time I did manage to get through I was told there were no appointments available and to try again tomorrow. When I tried again the next day, I again couldn’t get through to them.
I can only write about trying to book an appointment I have not managed to get to see anyone medical yet! This surgery is a joke and I can see why people just go to A & E, so creating a nightmare for the hospitals. The appointments only come on line at 8 am each morning so even if after around 30 minutes you get through to a receptionist to be told all appointments are gone for that day & they can’t make anymore until the next day, a joke.
This practice is an absolute disgrace,it near impossible to get intouch by phone even at 8am when they tell you to call and then you struggle to get an appointment.
Absolutely disgusting a minute late for my appointment as the online check-in would not let me check-in. Now I have to wait for another appointment before I can have my prescription
I was in the Surgery this morning waiting to see a Paramedic for my Granddaughter... A lady came inshe looked in her 70's and went to the receptionist ...people couldn't help but hear her describing how she had been feeling.. She said she kept having crushing pains in her chest and kept going all light headed and just didn't feel well at all, she asked to see or get an emergency appointment with a Doctor or an appointment for the next day, the receptionist said all the apps had gone and they were also booked up the rest of the week, The poor lady then said I'm OK now at this minute but it keeps happening... To that the receptionist said, well all I can do is put you down for a Doctor to ring you at some point today, I don't know what time but the Doctor will ring you... The lady said Thankyou and went. Now is it me or don't you think that this lady should of been seen straight away with what she was describing she was going through!... Meaning it could of been an indicator of a Heart attack!...and no I'm not a bloody Doctor but come on .. You seriously need to have a word with your receptionists and teach them a few things!... That's if you can be bothered!.... Absolutely disgusted!... And I wasn't the only one that felt like that!... You should be ashamed...
0 stars. Avoid at all costs if you want to spare yourself pain, frustration. They don't listen, ignore, twist words and do the absolutely minimum that they can get away with. Feels like forcing to go elsewhere or private if possible. It is absolutely heartbreaking and I don't wish it on anybody to go through that kind of suffering.
