Very disappointed, not the standards one would expect from a main dealer. Dealership itself is tiny, not much choices here. Outside area crammed with cars to the point you can't easily walk around the cars. Customer car park pretty much non existent. We've managed to get a spot but to get out had to do 12 point turn! Car we came to see was in an appalling state. Not valeted, filthy interior, dents and scratches all over the bodywork, scuffed and kerbed alloys, centre caps rotten, break discs/callipers fully covered with rust. Shocking, especially that we came for a booked viewing. Sales assistant reversed the car and opened the door. After that was just standing there like a dummy. I was pointing out all of the above about the cars condition, no reassurance this will be sorted, just standing in a spot not saying anything. Tried to open bonnet, couldn't find the latch for a bit, no help whatsoever. Asked if it's hpi clear, "should be". Asked how long would it take to be able to collect the car "around couple days maybe" Mainly because of the state of the car and a fact that would have had to make another 1.5 hour journey to collect it I've asked for some money off it. Guy went to ask manager just to come back with big smirk "nope, no money to be taken off, nothing". Probably manager was not happy we was going to buy outright not on finance. Don't know. Didn't go for it.
Bought a used car from them recently. Brilliant service. William looked after us. Very professional, polite and respectful staff. Definitely going to get my next car from them. Definitely recommend them.
When I purchased my car from the ackworth branch, the sales man Robin talked me into taking the 5 year guarantee plan. Claiming it covered all the stuff I wanted covering. So I paid £3800 in full plus signed over two cars. however when I did get the email about the policy turns out it didn’t cover what I wanted. So I took the hit and moved on. When I picked my car up it was filthy & looked like someone had tried removing the sil guards. the sales man Robin claimed that the valeting station had been on fire so they couldn’t clean it it was just start of lockdown I need the car so agreed Robin would book it in for a full valet at a later date, Which never happened. first mot and service with this branch had a phone call with a quote of just short of £1100 Which I refused to pay claiming I’d only just bought the car and I would be taking it to the motor ombudsman. But came to an agreement that the work would be carried out happy days. I then had to book in for a slipping clutch they said it seems the clutch is slipping but it’s ok to drive. and it is covered under my guarantee but I would have to pay £750 for them to take the gearbox out to get to the clutch to see if it was wear an tear or indeed faulty, if it was wear an tear it would cost me another £600 I might add the car had only done 44k so refused to pay. Plus it needed a wheel bearing sorting to which they tried charging me for £187 however when I explained it was included in the guarantee, They waived the fee very quickly and I mean in seconds on the phone. When I went to pick my car up I drove away but it still felt the same. So I rang the branch and explained I didn’t have any paperwork for the work that’s been carried out, to which the guy on the phone told me they haven’t done the bearing as it is ok when I challenged about trying to charge me he said it was his apprentice error. big red flag for me so I will never deal with this branch again try charging for work they haven’t done and just all round poor service from start to finish.
Been into enquire about a new car. William, Michael couldn't help enough. Extremely happy with the service provided from the entire team. Highly recommended.
Very disappointed My Suzuki is broken one week after MOT Pass on the 12.10.22 at Stoneacre Pontefract. We’ve paid above £1200 to repair Suzuki so it passes MOT as Stoneacre employee said it failed MOT. Is it an incompetence, someone in rush or was it done for purpose, that Stoneacre Pontefract employees didn’t notice a broken radiator, put too much oil and didn’t check the coolant? I always did MOT over last four years at Stoneacre Pontefract and never experienced such a situation. Well, there is a new staff now. Do not recommend Stoneacre Pontefract service. I don’t trust them anymore.
Main dealer prices , used them for some time ok until recently had to question aspects of work done , satisfied with a little positive customer service, until next time.
