Terrible Dentist, I have just moved to stone so thought i'd check it out my original dentist from uttoxeter said I needed a filling so I thought i'd get it done in stone, 3 people went in before me and 3 came out with 1 less tooth, I sat down and automatically my tooth is best to come out. I flat out refused left and went back to my old dentist, he filled the tooth and I have never had a problem with it, seems more of processing everyone with the quickest method possible than actually seeing to patients.

I think the problem with Google reviews is that people often tend to take the time to leave a review when they have a bee in their bonnet about something.  I'm sure those leaving poor reviews have legitimate worries, but they don't speak for the many many people who get great service every day. As for myself and my family, we have seen two different dentists there numerous times and have always been treated well. They were gentle and sensitive with my young daughters.  I had a filling today and was treated politely in a nice friendly way, the service was efficient and considerate.  I was offered a filling right away and offered more pain relief when I felt a slight twinge. I have come away with a nice neat filling.  I have a Tax Credits exemption, so this NHS service is completely free for me, and I'm very grateful for it.  Many thanks to you all, recommended.

Always have unpleasant experiences, I was never afraid of the dentist before I moved to stone... Boyfriend also goes here, who suffered from dry socket after having 3 teeth out and dentist refused to give him pain relief or dress the hole. He was in the chair for no more than 15 seconds and still had to pay the ridiculous check up fee!

my poor wife lorraine went to this dentist five times for pain around an old crown it's still giving her pain to the point where she cries they also did a filling that fell out twice!! The Crown?  they say it's fine!!!!
We are going to another dentist tomorrow..

must say iv had the worst experience at this dentist, i booked in for a tooth removal and some fillings, the dentist tried to numb the area 4 times and it was still agony, she couldn't remove the tooth because of the pain as there was an abscess above the tooth which she had not noticed, so i went back two days later to ask for a prescription for the abscess, even after i had paid for the tooth removal which was not removed i was then charged again for her to diagnose the abscess which they had missed, over the course of two days the dentist has cost me £80 and i still have the broken tooth. fair to say i will be using a different dentist in the future as the reception staff alone are really rude and not very welcoming.
