Would rate 0 if I could but hey ho, worst council ever they won’t do anything for you honestly, recently moved to a new home put all my rubbish in the bin anything that can’t fit in the bin we call waste collectors and we pay them extra just to take it away Unfortunately, first few weeks of moving in our camera was snapped off Someone pulled out the rubbish out of our bin, one of them which included our address they went and put it in a massive pile of rubbish in the opposite alleyway. Not even in our alleyway our OPPOSITE alleyway, when we saw the picture one item was ours which I put in our bin everything else including tires,chairs weren’t ours at all!! unfortunately, we were slapped with a £400 fine went down on the day The fine was delivered and we were told that they won’t speak to us unless we email them like they are gods gift. We emailed them a huge a paragraph telling them that it’s not our fault someone took the stuff out of our bin, it’s not fair that you have fined us. They emailed back a day before the deadline date to pay fine no idea why it took them two weeks to write one email thry didn’t try to help us only told us how we can pay the money, horrible council all they want is money we pay council tax.:. A lot of it but they still want money. I want to speak to someone important who can actually help
A New Kid In Kidsgrove, I just moved from London to this beautiful location and still settling in, finding it hard being away from mum and family, I had a query with new council tax account bill and needed to speak with someone, the assistant which I spoke with was very friendly and helpful just like with most of the locals and he very diligently helped me with my problem. I am glad to have moved to Stoke-on-Trent and I hope that I will be a welcome member to your community and City. Thank you. It is amazing how public money is used by these corrupt people. It's not their money so they "waste it wisely". I've never seen so many unnecessary work being carried out in such an incompetent way. But I suppose this is what we can get in a country that believes a strong State is needed.
Other councils handle blue badge requests within 48 hours. Stoke took 16 months just to mishandle the request and deny it for a reason that did not apply. They said appeals have a waiting list of 4 years so I moved house and got a blue badge in 48 hours from a different council. Terrible practice.
Absolute jokers a family has been racially abused for over a year by a council Tennant and they have not done anything about it! What a waste of time
Old outdated system.. spent 40 mins on the phone and they didn't have a clue... it should offer call back service when its my turn or let you know how long the queue is.. just waiting for over 40mins..
Called to ask a question only. At 9-05, early I know. Was still on hold at 9-25. So hung up as I'm busy too. Pretty awful really. No wonder your reviews are so poor, You need to up your game, help instead of avoid. Terrible service.
Paid off my sons council tax bill as he had moved out of the area, and still they are sending me bills. I do not think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing.
Cemetery road. The width of the leaf clearing hoover. Yet, the hoover makes 2 passes instead of 1. Result ? Half as many streets cleared of leaves. Typical 1970’s inefficiency
Absolutely shocking. Website is so slow you can get a coffee while a page loads, unfortunately when you get back you'll be greeted with a loading error. After finishing your coffee you'll call up to make a payment, only to find that the automated message system can't accept your payment for some reason. And good god the repairs for council tenants are beyond a joke, it's only classed as an emergency repair if the roof has been ripped off your house. Then when they do turn up they tell you to go on YouTube to fix it yourself. The worst council ever to exist, you would have better service in the slums of Brazil. Absolute joke, get your **** together Stoke council.
