I feel some parts of Stockport Council are an absolute disgrace.My particular issue is the website which is not fit for purpose. Over a 12 month period i made multiple attempts to contact them through the online complaints system and each time when the issue wasnt listed i selected a different one hoping someone would pick up on it. Part way through this time period another issue arose and despite multiple contact to this department neither made a response until i contacted my councillor. The replies i got were dismissive rude and made little sense, and their excuses for not replying were pathetic. We pay handsomely for the supposed service they provide, yet some staff feel they can treat people. Also see comments on Reddish Library page.
