Just terrible I won’t go into detail but had a horrible experience today at NO fault of our own. To be honest we as a family avoid them as much as possible but occasionally we have to use them if you know what I mean. This was a collection of items to post office. simple you would would think WRONG. Instead of getting our very parcels delivered to them we should have got them posted to our addressat a cost to us. Just don’t understand how one post office can just be so bad.
Ah what can I say, the level of customer service at this post office is always terrible and I wasn't surprised to see nothing has changed as it was shocking yet again, it's the worst I have ever observed. Bev's attitude and behaviour and level of resultant customer service could not only be described as being just below par but totally carefree, school-age antically unprofessional way down and off the scale, she was very rude towards at least 3 customers in a row. Wonder where she has picked this up from? umm, I'd give the review zero stars if the option was there. I'd say avoid the place if you can.
2021, Im a regular at this post office with large quantities of parcels weekly, ive never had any problems with the staff and service. The staff are verry efficient and helpful, giving great friendly service. Couldnt ask for more! 2022, One year on, oh my goodness!!! All the old staff who know what they are doing have left bar 1. Ive had so many bad experiences all with one member of staff who is the store manager. She has made me feel that my custom is not wanted. Every time I take parcels in this member of staff makes a big issue that i have a larger no. Of parcels. I was even told to do my post on line. Does this post office want my business? My child has been told off by this member of staff which i wasnt happy about. I dont normally complain but i feel if i dont nobody will. There isnt enough staff. Today i was turned away as the safe had jammed and the member of staff didnt know what to do! I walked away feeling it was convenient for this member of staff to refuse me service. I once again felt like my custom wasnt important. Staff unhappy, abrupt and not very helpful. I have decided never to use this post office again.
If I am sending parcels to for delivery in the UK there’s no problem. However if I’m sending packages to some overseas destinations to be tracked & signed they’ve told me it’s not possible or it’s going to cost five times what I am expecting to pay, I then go to the main post office in the town centre and send from there with no problem
I'm pretty sure that this branch is now shut for good it says position closed on every window and I'm not really surprised by this due to the very rude staff who clearly need lessons in customer service absolutely terrible. I once sent a bigmedium parcel they questioned what was inside when I explained it was a doll for my niece they laughed at this why is that funny ? also said I couldn't send it first class as it was to heavy so had no choice but to send it second class eventually it got there safely but really these people are dam right rude so I'm not surprised it's shut for good.
Poor customer service they carry on no one will use that post office and that will be another service closed on castle st
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Especialy one of the members of staff, she raised her voice to me because I don't have a printer to print my labels. I would not recommend going to this post office at all,they don't want to help with any enquiries.
I would struggle to remember a more unpleasant customer service experience than in this post office. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel like an inconvenience. It's just not necessary to be so rude and unhelpful. Although one thing I would say, it's quite impressive to maintain such a high level of miserableness for that long and still turn up for work every day. Hats off for consistency.
Went to get an express Passport check done. One member of staff trained to do it, I went to the wrong one. I was told to go to the back of a long queue and “get it right this time.” I refused and said I will wait. Eventually got to the window, paperwork was snatched from the tray. She then told me she wouldn’t do it because there was no mobile number on the form. I told her to read the form which says “optional.” She rolled her eyes and carried on. I rolled my eyes and was told not to. When I said she was doing it she just tutted and blew in annoyance. Have to use this place or walk to Stockport Town Centre.
If you ever think you don't like your job, visit this post office and be thankful you don't work here. Easily the most miserable and unhelpful people you could ever have the misfortune of meeting, I cannot possibly imagine being this unhappy in a job and still turning up every day, its truly a spectacular achievement to quite openly despise when you're doing and still sit there and do it every day, impressively miserable.
