I recently had multiple interactions at this post office, and regrettably, I’ve been consistently disappointed. On several occasions, when returning parcels with labels provided by prominent retailers, the staff member on duty has expressed annoyance at how the labels are affixed. Given that many companies now use flexible packaging, achieving a perfectly flat surface for the labels is challenging. However, the individual’s response has been to chastise me for the labels’ placement, even going so far as to suggest I take my business elsewhere. I believe everyone deserves respect and understanding, especially in a customer service setting. No one should feel belittled or intimidated when seeking services from their local post office. I sincerely hope there’s an opportunity for customer service training and improvement here. For now, my experience compels me to give this establishment a 1-star rating.
Sadly matters at the Post Office counter haven't improved since the negative reviews posted earlier. The Spar staff have always been pleasant but the man at the Post Office counter was extremely rude to me unnecessarily; I gave him the benefit of the doubt but he was unpleasant the next time I went in so I will certainly never again use this branch while he's there.
Since the lovely two ladies retired a good few years ago I have found this post office to be the worst I have ever attended, rude staff, untrained staff, pick and choose when open so it’s pot luck if open. Internet opening hours are so wrong.

do not use this post office it’s a joke. tried to collect my parcel with my id but they wanted something with my address on. online bank statement was not good enough for them. i dont have paper bank statements what am i suppose to do. and the opening hours are a joke too 10am to 2pm monday to friday not open weekends people work how are we suppose to get there during our 9-5 hours working mon to fri . staff was rude and not helpful at all never again.
I had stopped going because the man in the post office counter was very rude , it’s like he is doing you a favour and he has no customer services manners at all. I am using the post office a lot at the moment. I thought I would give it another try because it is my local post office 5 minutes walk the first time after not using it for a while, he was OKish but a few days ago I went again and he was the usual unfriendly person: not a thank you, a please or a smile. When I decided to write a review, I notice that other people find him the same. What a pity but I will have to drive and get back to use the ones in either Councilor Lane, Woodsmoor, Davenport or Bramhall village.
What is the point of having information on the Internet if its wrong. The Post Office hours have not been updated for over a year .... please-please would someone simply update the Post Office open/close times. I bet the update would take less time to do than my rant !
Just turned up at 10.15 to drop a package off. Staff changeover in progress - come back in 30 mins! Total joke and waste of my time. Go to Woodsmoor or Cheadle Hulme if you want good service.
I needed a post office on a Sunday and this one was suggested as open 8 - 6pm on a Sunday from my Google search. I drove over as I urgently needed to send some money but the post office counter was not open. Information online should be accurate.
Closed between 2:00 and 2:30pm for lunch. No information on the Internet so wasted journey. I only wanted to collect a parcel but noone else in the shop could help apparently
