Stirchley Carpets

I would give less stars if I could. Avoid at all possible opportunities! I have a whole house carpeted course around 1000 however living room crept wad awful join was poor the tried to fix it ! I will add photos of this all. In trying to fix they basically glued a whole load of carpet pieces I have told them to rip the carpet up and refund. Refund si told them to replace. Refused they are awful in the process I have for about a 2 inch cut that was glues and hidden on my landing inn2 spots. Didn't put my door bar on. Left a finger width gap from the wall to the carpet in fixing the one join. AVOID ! AVOID !

At first all was going well. However, one hour later, they rang and shouted out my wife, demanding another £100, for fitting the carpet. Not good customer service at all. So much for supporting a local business.

The father & son who run this business are nice enough, and their prices on floors & fitting can't be beaten. However, consider if it's worth it when their fitters cannot fit correctly. My living room carpet was laid well enough, however the kitchen lino was disastrous. The son got a little frustrated when I told him this, but asked me to pop in and discuss it with him. See photos.

Just had our bedroom laminate floor fitted by Sayyid excellent job, the flooring is of exceptional quality, and the total price was unbeatable, great job , great price, great company. Paul from Harborne.

Excellent service from start to finish and at an excellent price. I had my living room,stairs,landing and hallway done complete with underlay,gripper rods and fitting for just £650 and I chose good quality carpet. I was quoted nearly £350 more at the big companies for exactly the same carpet and services. It's little gems like this business that we need to keep. Will definitely use them again.

Carpets started lifting after 2 weeks which has now effected my whole landing. I did call and was told I'd have a call back, never did and not managed to get thru to them since. Used them for many of years, wont waste anymore of my money or time in them again now.

Really good selection of various grades of carpets. I have been shopping here for at least 25 years. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not pushy. Their fitters are great. They are professional, quick and tidy and really friendly and helpful. Can't fault this shop. 10/10

These guys have just fitted my stairs and landing. They did a fantastic job on our bedroom floor and they used the offcuts and another 8m to do our stairs. Their fitters are fantastic as are most of the people who work in the shop. Once you have bypassed the one guy in the store, you will receive a fantastic service at a price that no other firm can compete with! Thank you Stirchley Carpets! I will definitely be using you again! Lounge carpet next, hopefully this year, but if not, early next year.

I have used Stirchley carpets three times over ten years. Each time the service has been fine. The product and the fitting. ........................................................................................ Fourth time now . 6/9/2022 Amid fitted carpet and floor covering throughout 3 bedroom house , outer hallway and toilet .A really fine job , all round ! Prompt and all done within five hours . We had confirmed fitting dates but needed to postpone due to building work, Stirchley carpets were so patient and were still able to fit carpets and lino on the dates we asked for. They were professional throughout and their carpet fitters work was excellent, I couldn't fault it. I would highly recommend these guys and would use again without hesitation.
