Great place to eat. Reasonable Irish prices more expensive than other countries, and the quality of the food is good. We ordered the prawns didn’t make it to the photo and were excellent. The pasta was not very good, a bit over cooked but not that bad, and the portion of my beef casserole was a bit small, that’s mainly the reason for the missing star. The place is very good, big, with good beer option.
Very nice atmosphere, perfect for a chill weekday dinner. I had the pan fried hake. The hake was very good and the prawns were perfect, however I would've liked to have a bit more spinach with it! Fantastic service as well - thank you Vanessa :Food: 4/5
If you want to watch live football place than this place is good. The food is great and quality ingredients.
The place was really nice and the staff very friendly since we walked through the door. We had no reservation but we were told we can use a reserved table until it will be required an hour and a half later. The guiness bread that comes with the soup was amazing. Prices are ok as well,we paid 70€ for 2 soups, 2 burgers with chips and 3 drinks. We probably will visit again to try the steak and maybe some desserts!
Came across this lovely place on open table. Not only extremely accommodating to our last minute party of 94kids but super friendly staff and wasn’t sure what to expect from the food, but we were all SO pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful, so tasty and well priced. I literally couldn’t fault it. In fact, I’ll go out of my way to come back again. Conor was the name of the main man, so helpful. And all the staff were super lovely! Thanks guys. 10/10 Kid-friendliness: Super friendly with kids and great kids menu! Parking: Parking spaces at the side. Wheelchair accessibility: We had a pram, but plenty of space for chair/pram. And toilets were spotless clean too!
Had not been in The Orchard in ages & was. very impressed. Love the new make over. Really enjoyed our evening, staff v attentive & food was lovely. A gr8 local spot for a pint & steak .... & a brillant value kids menu burger was as big as adults .... will be back.Food: 4/5
We stopped of here for a quick bite on our journey and found a very nice place to eat... Amazing food and friendly staff. Highly recommended... Kid-friendliness: Loads of space for children... Parking: Got a parking spot right outside the door...
A delicious experience. Lunch was excellent. Fish cooked beautifully with a lovely sauce. Liam a pleasure. Shame about the decor. Needs to be updated surely.Food: 5/5
Good food good service and staff. Parking: Stillorgan village
Booked a private area for 25/30 people for a baby shower and was not happy with the service provided. Staff not very pleasant with very little manners. Some were ok Drink orders wrong and no communication between lounge staff one staff member would be paid for an order and the other staff member would come and ask to be be paid again this happened on a few occasions. As it was a baby shower We played a few games and maybe at times it got a little loud that was the reason we booked the private area we were told very abruptly to be quiet, no professionalism when speaking to guests at all ! We ordered three food platters to come out at 4:30 pm I had to go and ask where it was at 5 pm eventually it arrived at 5:15pm the platters where put on a table and some plates beside it and one member of staff very rudely told a guest to stop using their hands. I was then charged a €25 service charge on my food bill for food that was brought out on a platter and placed on a table 45 minutes late! We had a decorated ballon arch for photos with a number of balloons so as we were cleaning up we burst the balloons to clear them away we were very abruptly told to stop I apologised and explained that we were just trying to clear up and was told very abruptly that they are well used to tidying up balloons themselves. It is such a pity as I have had a few occasions in this pub over the last few years but I think with the staff changes the last little while it is not as it used to be.
