I've passed by this pub for years on the 46a and never went into it until today. Have to say they served me one of the best pints of Guinness I've ever had. This is a proper old school pub with competitive prices, friendly staff, and a lovely cosy atmosphere with a fireplace and all. I rarely leave reviews for pubs but I had to give this place the five stars it thoroughly deserves. Slàinte!

So this is a real locals bar in the best possible way, numerous groups of different sizes enjoying a Saturday night out, no music, no tv there but off, no food, just good stout, friendly bar staff and a great night out.Service: 5/5

Some great memories socialing here, but unfortunately time has eventually caught up with the old dog. One minor investment to include a Coffee machine would definitely go far. Staff as friendly and as accommodating as ever. As close as you'll get to Arthur Daly's "Club" in Minder.Service: 5/5
