We loved it here, it genuinely was like a home from home, very cosy, excellent facilities, everything you need like tea coffee hot chocolate, an iron, kettle, fan if it get hot, a heater, microwave plate and cutlery is there, very well thought of by the owner. The breakfast excellent, Beth I think it was her name is a beautiful soul nothing was too much trouble, service with a smile. Genuinely the best B&B we've stayed at yet. Great location too 10/10. We cheekily popped our heads in the other rooms where the door was open before anyone got there and we loved them too!
Stayed at Victoria House for 2 nights and couldn't have been happier. We had a lovely reception from Jan, Oscar & Honey on arrival and throughout our stay we didn't bring our dog on this occasion but know she would have been made to feel very welcome too! There were a great selection of options for breakfast and all were very tasty. The superior king room was lovely, everything you could need was supplied and the bed was very comfortable. Victoria House is located in a great spot in walking distance from all the highlights of Caernarfon. It was also a great base to explore the surrounding area - we visited Conwy and Beaumaris/Penmon lighthouse on Anglesey. We will definitely be recommending Victoria House to anyone we know visiting the area in the future!
My partner and I decided at short notice to climb Mount Snowdon on New Years Eve for Midnight so needed somewhere close to stay. The hotel was in a great location for this and was in a beautiful little town. Although the hotel parking spaces were full we found a cheap car park a minute walk away. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were lovely and accommodating. I’ve never been anywhere so organised and welcoming! We were shown to our lovely room with sweet amenities and shown a folder with information of the hotel, the area, recommendations, the works! The staff really went above and beyond allowing us to have a later breakfast if we needed after our climb and happy with us arriving back early hours of the morning. The breakfast was delicious and we ended up going into the little town to buy some more of the cheese we had at breakfast it was that good! The stay really felt like a home away from home so quickly and we wish we had booked to stay longer! We’re hoping to climb Mount Snowdon again and if we do we will definitely be booking to stay here again!
Our first B&B experience, and Victoria House, set the bar extremely high! We recieved a lovely warm welcome from Jan and dog Oscar. A drink of choice, in our case a nice cool beer, was waiting for us. Oscar greeted us like long lost buddies which was lovely. Jan showed us around her lovely B&B, dinning room and cozy lounge. We stayed in the superior King room, it was magnificent with the biggest comfiest bed ever. The room was equipped with everything you would ever need, including hot chocolate, tea, coffee, kit kats and my favourite- homemade fudge!! High level of cleanliness throughout the B&B. There was a further nice surprise to find a jacuzzi in the bathroom. There was constant hot water. Toiletries supplied and replaced each day. The bedroom had a large smart tv, which you can use apps using your personal accounts if you wish to watch Netflix etc . There's a fridge and microwave, two plates and cutlery, if you wish to have take away. There's an extensive menu for breakfast, we pre ordered and breakfast was there as soon as we sat down. Served by wonderful Michelle. Breakfast was delicious and the friendly service added was the icing on the cake. Oscar made a few appearances, just to ensure we hadn't forgotten him! I would've kept him in our room if Jan hadn't kept calling him back! We booked three nights, at a very reasonable rate. We enjoyed walking around Caernarfon and the castle. Lots of small gift shops etc. We ate at the Black Boy which was lovely. We did a day trip to zip world 20 mins away and did velocity 2 zip line I went faster than my husband, so I won! Can't recommend Victoria House B&B enough, it's 5* and deserves that award and higher!! Jan was on hand at all times, nothing was too much trouble. I wish Jan all the best ,Thanks to Jan, Michelle, Oscar and the lovely quiet dog, we will see you soon...woof!! P.S, my title states "Home from Home", its actual much nicer!! Jan has definitely found her calling in life and makes running a B&B look easy! We know it's not! Rooms: Rooms are spacious but decorated to feel cozy. Huge comfortable bed with feathered pillows and quilt. Tea/coffee etc, kettle, microwave and fridge. Large smart TV. Wifi throughout B&B. En-suite, had selection of toiletries and jacuzzi. Nearby activities: The castle and quaint nearby shops. Zipworld is 20 minutes away. Food & drinks: Breakfast was delicious. Extensive menu choice. Great quality food. Nice white linen with a lit candle. A drink of choice is given on arrival. Noteworthy details: Jan, Michelle and Oscar, gave us such a warm welcome. They were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Just genuinely lovely ladies.
Such a lovely stay. The owner is so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Would stay here again. Also the view from the balcony is beautiful

Friendly, clean and feels like home away from home! Best stay ever : stayed here for 2 nights with our two lil dogs, and can I say it was the best decision we made. As soon as we walked in we was offered a complimentary drink which was lovely after our 5 hour drive. Jan and her team were so helpful with suggesting the best dog friendly places to eat in the area. The breakfast was also amazing! And great coffee too! Thank you so much Jan, Honey and team! Will defiantly be back again soon to stay!
High-end B&B, with inner-town location and adequate street parking in close proximity You pay a premium price but the service and rooms are both exceptional Spotlessly clean and spacious, the rooms are beautifully appointed and stylish Every convenience is considered and provided with a passionate attention to detail. Beautiful thick towels are always a joy to experience in this sort of accommodation A complimentary alcoholic drink is provided on arrival The bed was large and very soft which is not to my personal taste, but otherwise an exceptionally comfortable stay Excellent and highly recommended
We stayed for two nights,and would thoroughly recommend.Jan and Beth very welcoming,accommodation excellent,comfy bed,quiet, and well equipped, breakfast is super,and the property is ideally situated in Caernarfon,easy walks to pubs,shops and restaurants. The waiting staff at breakfast were very helpful,chatty and friendly,we wouldnt hesitate to recommend ,or plan a re visit.
