This b&b is right opposite the longest named railway station. Good selection of beers. Chef wasn't on the night we stayed so we had to eat elsewhere. Comfy pub, excellent breakfast. Our room was in need of updating, not sure what the other rooms were like. New licensee has not been in long & is updating the hotel side. Right next door to the main road and traffic can be quite loud, windows were single glazed. Owners very friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Lots of room in the large car park, local shops within walking distance.
Good quality and well priced menu, service was average, no sweets available as Chef opted for an early finish! We chose the Penrhos Arms on the strength of fairly positive reviews left by previous diners but to be truthful we fairly disappointed. Whether we would revisit the Penrhos Arms is debatable!
Grabbed a last minute night away. What a friendly and welcoming place. Good location to explore Anglesey area. The food was delicious - in fact the breakfast was the best we have ever had. And my fur babies were offered sausages. Our room was clean, comfy and although the bathroom needed upgrading it all worked fine. For the money we paid it exceeded our expectations. We will go back again. Nearby activities: Beaumaris is a few miles away as in Menai Bridge and the beautiful church island. Within half a hour you are in Raf Valley and just 20 minutes from Llandonna beach.
Review based on lunchtime dining only. Several items not on menu, but food we did order was very good. Clean and comfortable restaurant. Service a little slow, but staff were friendly and happy to help.Rooms: 4/5
Not really your usual village pub. I go in fairly often and there always seems to be a lot of new faces. There are obviously the regular crowd as you get everywhere, but a regular supply of visitors. I put this down to the pub also having rooms to let and it being in a very touristy location. The restaurant always gets positive comments although I haven't eaten there the food always smells amazing:- a good selection of standard drinks lager, bitter, cider, wine etc and often at least one decent ale on a hand pump very well kept, always in great condition the flow of customers can be fast moving at times so I you get there and there is no where to sit then give it half an hour and there will almost certainly be a free table. Friendly staff and good service. If there isn't anyone behind the bar just ring the bell on the bar and someone will be with you in a few seconds bar staff also look after the restaurant which is in another room so they might be busy when you walk in car park round the back and also a large car park directly across the road. My favorite pub in LlanfairPG :-
Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, would definitely stay again. Very quiet, not rowdy pub , nice restaurant.. Excellent value for money.Rooms: 4/5
We had food here, the service was excellent and the food was fantastic, booked to go again for my mum's birthday.Service: 5/5
We were looked after by friendly staff, the meals were lovely and the locals were welcoming ,we will be going back and recommend others to go.
Nice place. Very friendly staff. Good food. Location handy just off A55, Llanfair doesn't have much going on, but the pub has everything you need for a short stay. Would go again.Rooms: 4/5
Gastro pub with ensuite rooms upstairs. The property downstairs is split 60% restaurant and 40% bar and has a great atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable with ensuites, TV, coffee and tea. There is an outside terrace and the ground coffee latte was fantastic. This venue is opposite the railway station with the longest place see photo as too long to write. Lots of great walks nearby. We only had breakfast but the food and the service
