Store is good and staff are friendly and have used it for years but no more. The reason for this being that Asda in their wisdom have gradualy phased out checkout lanes that have staff serving you to self service tills. Constant queues and general chaos with the eldrly folk of the town struggling with this system. The staff staff seem to be jumpping about trying to keep it all going. Stick the tills back and put the cashiers back in place before all your loyal customers defect.
Shop here practically every day. Staff very pleasant and helpful at all times. A large pot of yogurt and some other shopping fell out of my carrier bag today and the yogurt went over the shopping at the self service. Torri one of the staff members told me to get a new pot of yogurt and whilst I was away she wiped clean my shopping and packed it all in the bag - that’s what I call service! Thank you again Torri.
Disappointed. Twice I've been refused to be served at the till while I had a trolley full of grocerys they pushed me to self service it's a disgrace
Convenient location small clothing section.parking outside great for basics
A smaller Asda. Not the full product range of their flagship stores. But still well stocked and organised. Immaculately clean and very helpful staff
Shame mainly do it yourself shopping
I was eating a Sunday dinner and I bought a broccoli from there and when I was about to eat it I saw a maggot on my broccoli
Great selection and very low prices. Many items were on rollback or clearance. As a budget traveller, I loved this place. The quality was far above and beyond Iceland or Poundsaver. Comparable quality/price ratio as ALDI.
Got a parking fine for stopping here after the store was closed! Avoid if you can, don’t get stung by the thieves.
This shops allows the local racists and bigots to dictate what it's customers may or may not buy. If you aren't Welsh and/or are a tourist then do not shop here because you will be racially discriminated against.
