Story

We provide NHS and Private Dental Care to the highest standards. It is our practice philosophy to promote dental health with an emphasis on preventative care. We provide all the treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health under NHS Dental Services. You may choose to have some treatments such as Cosmetic Dentistry or Teeth Whitening provided privately. We are happy to discuss all your treatment options so that you have the opportunity to consider the alternatives.

We adopt a teamwork approach to providing your dental health needs. It is our policy for each patient to see one dentist on a continuing basis. However, we will arrange for you to see one of our other dentists, if your dentist is not available. We are a member of The BDA Good Practice Scheme. This confirms that we maintain standards set by our Professional Organisation. Our practice has been approved for Vocational Training for the past seven years.

We offer a wide range of dental treatments from preventative treatments to Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics and Dental Implants. If any aspect of your dental appearance concerns you, no matter how trivial it may seem, please discuss it with us. Each surgery is equipped with modern equipment and technology to help us diagnose when treatment is required and explain the treatment options to you. We may suggest referral to a particular specialist when we are unable to provide your treatment at the practice.

Was took off their register for what appears to be because I complained and was with my treatment that I had after my initial consultation in early 2023 had around 11 appointments in probably a 12 month period. I had, surface fillings initially and almost every time I had another appointment was to have a filling replaced.nThe practice to my mind is un-professional and don't like criticism I currently have a complaint regarding this practice under investigation with the NHS.nI think what needs to happen with the NHS is for them to independently inspect your teeth on request without knowing the dentist you are currently seeing so that they cannot be accused of bias.
I had a splendid time at the dentist today. I must thank dr ballagan. He really cleaned and scrubbed my teeth. They are squeaky clean rn and white. His service is honestly 10/10. Give this a man a pay rise.
I went to Station house Dental surgery today to have extractions, X-rays and checkup. Dr P.K.Pooni BDS is the most kindest person I’ve ever dealt with. She took my fear of the dentist with kindness and compassion the dental treatments are second to none. If you need a dentist Dr P.K Pooni is an amazing dentist and the rest of the staff are great! Highly recommend
After two years without visiting a dentist, I contacted Station house Dental Practice. Initially, they informed me that there were no available appointments but assured me they would reach out once one became available. To my delight, I received a call just a few hours later, offering me an appointment for the next day.nnUpon arrival, I was impressed by the modern and impeccably clean facilities. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming. Despite my nervousness about showing my teeth, the dentist was very understanding. I was informed that I needed to see the hygienist and have two fillings. Expecting this to take several weeks, I was pleasantly surprised when I was booked in with the hygienist the very next day and for the fillings the day after.nnErin, the dentist, was exceptionally helpful, polite, and professional. She thoroughly explained the procedures, making me feel comfortable and at ease. Her dental assistant was equally amazing. I have never felt so safe, comfortable, and happy during a dental visit.nnAdditionally, the reception staff were excellent, even calling me the day before to confirm my appointment—a level of service I had never experienced at my previous dentist.nnKeep up the amazing work! I highly recommend Station Close Dental Practice to anyone.
