We walked in mid morning and asked for coffee and snacks. The landlord could not have been more helpful. Nice coffee, great bacon butties.Food: 5/5
Popped in on my ownsome with wee doglet to escape a hoolie of a wind. Not sure if I was walking into an 'old-mans' pub or not. It's a sweet wee pub with a small but varied selection of spirits and a pool table. It wasn't busy, but everyone including owner I presume was friendly. Didn't try any food but I will return to sample another time. Cheers!
Great local bar - watched football here, played pool and joined in the pub quiz and won!! Very friendly staff and clientele - if you are in Elie a great pub to visitService: 5/5
Always a gorgeous, warm welcome when we visit. Brilliant regulars. Owners and staff ensure you are very well looked after. The toasties are to die for!! It was lovely to see family's enjoy the pool table and watch both rugby and football. Something for everyone. Fabulous asset to Elie.
We had a quick lunch here and it was great. Not only tasty but very reasonable too. The guy landlord? who served was really friendly and professional. Thank you.
Basic bar nothing to do with a buffet and has only minimal food Only wine is in mini bottles and awful. Friendly service and convivial atmosphere
Not a bad soup and toastie. Fast friendly service and the guy behind the bar told us all about the history of the place etc. They have cool little covid huts outside where you can have your pint out of the inevitable wind and rain
After been at The Ship on the sea front we left to head up to the Station Buffet, We received a warm welcome and a lovely few drinks, a lot cheaper than The Ship and a bonus that the Station serve your drinks in clean glasses, we would definitely go back. We visited on Monday 22nd May
After reading previous reviews I went to this pub tonight to kill time waiting for a bus. I decided to order food. Soup and a panini for £6.50. Mushroom soup was ok, just very basic. The panini was a frozen/microwave job. Not good. Both of my chosen foods were just microwaved behind the bar. Not impressed. If I’m in the area again I may pop in for a drink while waiting for a bus but I wouldn’t go there by choice.
Stopped for a light lunch. Excellent range of snacks including home made soup. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Some outside eating / drinking kiosks in grass area opposite. Parking nearby. A largish step to negotiate preventing easy wheelchair access.
