Excellent customer service. There is a lady operator who picks up each time I phone in. She's exceptionally great! Has the calmest voice ever and extra friendly. Drivers always arrive before time, and are very nice. I'm leaving you 5 stars! Love the service and happy to recommend again and again and again!
Didn't turn up for daughter's 3.30 am booking. Despite the confirmation text, the office denied any such job existed. Driver rang a hour later to say he'd just received the instructions. Daughter was stranded, we had to go get her. Thankfully we were able to. Absolute shambles. Definitely won't use again. Don't think it was the driver's fault, this is rubbish office staff.
I booked this company via Uber this morning, trusting them to get me to the races. I could see the car on the map, stationary, for about 12 minutes, when the timer said they would arrive in 4 minutes. They declined all 3 of my calls as I attempted to see what the hold up was about. I had no choice in the end but to cancel, meaning I got a fee of £7 more than 50% of the journey cost. I feel like they intentionally just sat there so that I had to cancel and they got a fee for doing nothing. I will not be using them again. Do NOT recommend!
They tell you to use the app to book the taxi, you use the app and it confirms your booking. But when you phone to ask whether they are on their way, they tell you that even if you've booked it and it has confirmed, you don't necessarily get your taxi at that time. What's the point of the app then? And being told that there are no taxis available at the moment, a joke. They are also always late when you've booked in advance. Super unreliable. And some of the cars these drivers use... they are close to falling apart! Won't be using them again if I don't have to.
I've been let down twice by this company - once they just failed to turn up and the second time they were so late that I missed my train I'd left a 40 minute buffer but the taxi wasn't even dispatched until 15 minutes after my scheduled pickup. Second time they agreed to fully refund me for the taxi fare it cost me a huge amount in rearranged train fares - but after two emails to their office it's pretty clear this fare refund is never going to happen. Really shambolic taxi service - there are much better ones available in Cheltenham.
Twice I’ve ordered a taxi. He’s arrived, hasn’t waited and just left. No call. No explanation. Currently on crutches and very frustrating. Rude unhelpful man on control desk. I won’t be using again.
I used a taxi last night and the taxi driver was rude and left me at the wrong adress, when i told him i don’t think it’s here he kept telling me it is, i only need to walk a bit as he can’t be bothered to drive round,I payed, told him to wait to check and he left me there. I went roun in circles for 40 minutes in the dark, cold and not knowing where i wasand couldn’t find the adress , i phoned the starline again, tried to direct me but with no luck and told me to complain tomorrow. i had to phone work and someone picked me up in the end from work, but i was in a lot of distress. where is the safety of the clients?
Not local, don’t know the area.. driver was on way, we waited outside and the driver cancelled 4 mins before arriving! App deleted, we come to Cheltenham a lot and will never use this firm again. Luckily pre booked with another firm for 30mins later as read the reviews
I booked a taxi using their website to pick me up at 4:30 am, three days before the pick up date. My booking was cancelled 10 minutes before the booking time!! I called Spa-taxi and they sent me a taxi in 10 minutes to catch up the coach. I will never use starline for important appointments as they are extremely disappointing
The taxi keeps arriving late despite booking in advance. It arrived 20 minutes late on the last occasion, when we called Starline they told us that it was our fault for booking on the app and should appreciate that they are busy...unacceptable!!
