Just used the service, and the driver didn't even drop us at home saying the car cannot go into narrow road leading to our home, and that he struggled coming out when he had been there before. Just used the same service yesterday different driver, that driver was fine dropping us home. Today was even charged £10 for half a mile journey and didn't drop us home. The only reason I called a taxi was because I had some packages around 20KG delivered and was too far to carry it home. Just had a bad experience today.
Excellent service. Taxi booked at late notice to go out of town and then back later. Prices very reasonable. Despite being fully booked my request was accommodated and even though they were very busy and said they may be late both drivers were on time, very polite and good drivers especially given the icy conditions.
Absolutely disgusted. We were quoted £20 to go to Cheltenham town centre!! When we arrived the taxi driver told us it was £30. I explained the quote we had. The lovely taxi driver rang the ‘boss’ all she could say on loud speaker. You pay the £30 or get the taxi driver to ring the police!!!!!!! I was ever so upset with this. Please please please. Do not use this firm. Disgraceful and I will make sure everyone knows it. Totally ruined out night out. Horrible woman on the phone.
Very disappointed with the service I received on the 21.3.23 that I have to leave a review. I ordered a taxi at 7.27PM for it to arrive at 7.55PM from Cheltenham train station . I waited and waited and there was no taxi, I called the taxi office at 7.59 to find out where the taxi is, the lady on the phone stated that it will be here in a min. No sorry it’s late nothing. But I thought okay I will carry on waiting. This taxi arrived nearly 15 min late with no apology. I stated to the taxi driver that he is late and I am disappointed because firstly, I am a young female standing In the dark with no one around me. Secondly, there was no apology or even a call to say that the taxi was going to be late. He responded “ call the taxi office and tell them”. I then said oh I am definitely doing that because this is not right. He then replied “I am not taking you” I said excuse me? He said I am not taking you. I said wow okay so now you’re not going to take me home. He said no. Then another taxi driver station taxi came out of their car and told Andy cars taxi driver that he shouldn’t have treated me like that and that he has to take me. The taxi driver refused and drove off. What a nasty guy! I will make sure everyone i know, knows about this. No way will I let this go. Not only was he late, he then did not take me home. I am so disappointed, never been treated like this. I had to use another taxi service the taxis outside the station who was so polite and said that they couldn’t believe I was treated like that. After the taxi dropped me off I went into the taxi office to voice my complain . The lady at the front office stated that “this is not like the driver” I can’t express how angry I am! The worst thing is, this is my local taxi and I booked them to support them. But customer service is horrific, such a shame because I know the other drivers there and they are lovely. However, some staff members are just so rude for no reason. The service is just horrific and this explains why the good drivers keeps leaving ! They keep loosing the good staffs! After this incident I will NEVER book with them again.
Rang for a quote for a pick up at 11:30 on Sunday Eve for a trip of about 1 1/2 miles and was told it would be £10, then was told as it was a bank holiday it would be £14. Ended up ringing them to change the time to 11 pm and the guy turned up on time in a big Merc. When we reached our drop of I was told it would be £25, I said I'd been quoted £14 but the driver said it was £25 on his mobile phone. Not sure how his phone added a rip-off factor, but the whole thing was a rip off. I'd advise you not to use this company or pay up front if you must use them. Very disappointed! Don't like being taken for a ride pun intended Richard Lee.
I know it was a raceday but was asked for £15 for a 5 min car journey from prestbury to racecourse, gave the driver 2 £10 notes who then proceeded to tell me he only had approx £2.50 in change, couldnt believe he didnt have a £5 note to give me So paid on my card which then came up on his reader as £15.75 , When i questioned the 75p charge he told me it was for tax. What an absolute disgusting rip off Would not use this firm ever again
This cab firm has to be the most expensive in Cheltenham. Ordered a cab from shurdington rd going to the town centre, it cost £9 going there, coming home we ordered a cab from Andy’s cars, to come back to shurdington rd, the lady from Bulgaria charged us £18 it’s less than 1 mile Away really what’s all that about How can our kids afford these rip off prices. Definitely would not recommend this company
No taxis available anywhere, they suggested leaving earlier than requested .Great idea!! we accepted and had our taxi . Great service! thank you!
Excellent service. On time, good drivers, easy to book and always helpful on the phone.
Called them when they were 15 minutes late to find out that our taxi hadn’t even been dispatched from town. Didn’t call us to let us know and we had a show to get to. Wouldn’t use again purely due to lack of consideration for customers
