My wife had a meeting, so I decided to wait for her in this wonderful little place. Small, quirky and aged in appearance, this great place had an enormous selection of own-brewed drinks to choose from. The barmaid with the dragon tattoo on her back was very helpful and assisted me in choosing a delicious dark beer. I then chose a quiet seat at the back and read my paper and, as an hour passed, it began slowly filling up but was still pleasant nonetheless. Recommended.
Great new pub for the area. Good selection of beers, both cask ales and keg beers from Late Knights the brewery who runs the pub and other small breweries. Good food, friendly service, unobtrusive music: a great new local.
Great choice of beers, half from the brewery that runs the place and half are guest. They do good food, beer to takeaway and great bar snacks too. A great alternative local pub.
Excellent range of well kept ales from local and not so local breweries. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit. Bar food is available, but I've not tried it.
Sunday lunch with the family today. Bit of an odd looking place but had it recommended by a friend who lives locally. The food was really top notch and the service was great. Don't be put off by the way it looks!
Nice little pub with great inside decoration ! Nice beer selection. Can get a bit noisy and food can be improved , but will definitively come back ....
Fantastic selection of beers and reasonably priced own brews. Nice and quiet too.
Great beer selection and tasty food, particularly the roasts
Visited after the refurb to see if it's settled in and still looks a little like a mix mashed coffee shop not in the best way Foods ok, beer was a little lacking and pricey, 5.70 for a drink at packet of crisps is a little steep for this place
This recently refurbished pub has a good selection of beers on tap and a selective menu. Highly recommended.
