First visit here and we have absolutely loved it. Will be booking again for next year. It really caters for all ages and adults only don’t need to come with kids. Caravan spotless cleanest I’ve seen. Staff all really nice. My boys loved the Tuesday football, the pool party snooker pool bowling play park and Evening entertainment. The inside pool is brilliant with the sauna steam foot spa heated seats and jacuzzi. Only downside for us was lack of places to eat. Rent a space to an outside caterer? But won’t stop us from coming back.
I enjoyed my time at the park. The entertainment building there is excellent. It house a well stocked shop,a cafe, various bars,a bowling ally and swimming pool. There are events for the kids to take part in as well as evening entertainment for the grown ups. Silloth is an easy walk of about half a mile away to get you to the town centre. If you are looking for a snack or a full meal both Mrs Wilson's cafe and the Fairy dust Emporium are to be recommended. The Fairy dust is dog friendly and even offers a free sausage for your pet. Well worth a visit to Stanwick Park.photos from Fairydust Emporium
Spent a long weekend here just me my son and the dog over father's Day weekend with our caravan, not a great deal to do around silloth itself but the facilities on site are great. The pool was brilliant there is a nice little park area on site and a soft play area. I know lots of people like a club house and this place has one, not my type of thing but great for people who actually want one. I will definitely be back.
Good leisure centre. Clean caravans and chalets some of which are dog friendly. If there is some problem they fix it promptly we had a broken shower inexpensive if pre- or post- season. Silloth is quiet but a good alternative to more expensive places nearer the lake district. Fantastic sunsets if you are into that. Dog-friendliness: Some chalets and caravans suitable for dogs. There is a golf course and sand dunes for walks.
I don't know where to start but all I can say is this place was an amazing experience for the whole family. Unfortunately our 3 bed caravan had a electrical fault and we've been moved to a 2 bed caravan. My first thought was to ask for a refund due to not having what I paid for but I changed my mind after the first night. The difference was probably around £20 so it didn't worth the hassle. The staff was amazing, really nice and helpful. I have to admit that I was a bit concerned about this place. I always choose big sites la Pardean Resorts or Haven but this place was much more than any other places we ever been. My kids even asked me when we can return. Our vist was in February so I was a bit worried about the weather so I had plans to visit some local attractions but honestly we had so many activities so we never left the site for the entire stay. My kids loved here and we will definitely come back for more. Thank you all the people working there for being such a fantastic team.
Great place for the whole family. I always love going there. Their shop is great and their cafe/restaurant never disappoints. Their night entertainment is great for kids and later, even better for adults. 10/10. Playground: Lovely. Restrooms: Hard to find, but not bad for being a bathroom.
The club venue's good the acts were good staff are friendly. But the touring caravan toilets are not so good they could do with a good clean . The window's could do with a hoover lot's of dead flies on spiders webs. 2min job . Other than that had a good time .
The family really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was when I requested someone to come & fix the shower door that literally fell onto me & hurt me, I was told by maintenance guy that it's not fixable or fit for purpose just to be careful. I asked what if that was my 1year old grandson? To be told well he shouldn't be taking a shower at his age.. I brought this up to reception to be told oh I'm sorry but it's true the showers are being renewed at the end of season. That maintenance man is what lost the 5th star I'd have given otherwise.
Unfortunately we were plagued by very noisy guests / neighbours. With paper thin walls it's almost impossible not to hear others flatulate but with a rave next door our kids couldn't sleep and we then were up all night. I can't recommend this place off the back or my experience. Bowling was fun and swimming pool was overcrowded. You can't get to the "beach" easily or quickly.
Excellent holiday, children's entertainment was excellent. Lots of activities. Could do with more baby swings in the park and another campers kitchen near the pods but overall an excellent holiday park will definitely go again.
