Seacote Caravan Park is a family run caravan holiday home and touring park located on the outskirts of Silloth on Solway

Story

The park is open from 1st March to 15th November each year, has 80 pitches for caravan holiday homes and 20 touring pitches, all with electric hook up and has a quality grading of 4 stars by the English Tourist Board. There are toilet and shower facilities for use by the touring customers plus a launderette and payphone. Calor gas is sold on the park and there is a grassed play area with 4 swings, however ball games are not permitted on the park.

250m away from the park is the seafront promenade with leads to Silloth. The Solway Plain is level so it is ideal for cyclists who can follow the Cumbria Cycle Way. Nearby the Solway Marches are noted for rare plant, bird and animal life and the coast near Silloth has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). The Solway Coast is also a popular location for birdwatching, particularly seabirds and migratory birds.

Very friendly site, very clean and great improvements
Very helpful and pleasant 'caretakers', looking after site for owners whilst away. Toilet block closed due to Covid, although other sites in area are fully open, hence 4 stars. Electric only 10amp, which was only an issue as had to switch between using devices. Pleasant stay, and would possibly stay again x

My experience of Seacote seeing as you are asking was amazing for 11years under Broughton Farms management .Under new management took over Oct 2019 paid annual fees of just shy of l800 in Jan 2020.nobody knew Pandemic about to hit. July 4th 2020 able to go to van had 2 happy months no refund offered then in September email stating site licence not going to be renewed as van too old. Then harassment I have the emails started . Were quoted 1700 for us to pay to leave site and obvs leave our van. In Lockdown Nov 2020 were repeatedly via email told to get rid of van and belongings and again 1700 was mentioned and then if not removed a £20 a day fine to be implemented again i have the emails.So pre Oct 2019 Seacote was a haven...a retreat...a community of owners vans, tourer site was available post 2019 not many original owners left and most original owners are banned from the site . You did ask for my review...I didn't seek this out.
