Old pub in city 30 years ago I was a regular. It got a rough reputation a few years ago. But we thought we would try it. Limited choice of real ale but what I had was A1. Very clear and fresh but it was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE in comparison with local bars within a 2 minutes walk. Big shame.

Had an event there & was very good. Staff friendly and polite. Food as last time very nice especially the tomato soup.

Fantastic food , with a great choice of vegetarian dishes. Friendly and welcoming staff plus the place looks great since the refurbishment.
