Call in for food, waited a long time getting on for 1/2 hour, on first appearance the fish and chips look ok maybe a little small for the price but then it went downhill the fish skin was burnt on the underside and dry on the inside. I left the burnt and the bar man compensated me with a pint of Guinness so I went away hungry.Food: 2/5
This is the worst greene king ever , ordered food and it arrived 60 MINS later!!!!....asked why took so long apparently very busy..... I dont think so there were lots of free tables about. If you ordered a dessert oh there was no problem there arrived very quickly . We were offered a free drink for our long wait would rather had a discount but that was not forthcoming safe to say we will never darken its doorsteps again unless there is a rainbows end with a pot of gold at the end
Had a lovely lunch here. Plant meatballs in a ciabatta rolls with chips and sweetcorn bites. Stan our Great Dane who you see here chilling in the friendly atmosphere chose chicken and a sausage from the Doggy Menu. Nice tidy clean pub with a good choice on the menu including vegetarian. Food was nicer than most. Lovely outside area and there’s a car park. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Another brilliant visit to the Lane Ends for my wife, myself and our two rescue dogs. Happy, knowledgeable staff and friendly locals. A big thank you to Becky and her staff. We’ll be back soon.Service: 5/5

Sunday fathers day roast dinner wasn't great all frozen food horrible potatoes no mash and the beef was rock hard and dry .Also expensive drinks and poor service probably won't visit again full of screaming kids going wild omgFood: 2/5
Went here yesterday with my son for the first time in awhile, and I've got to say I had a great experience yet again! The food was great - I had steak and ale pie which was superb my son had fish and chips which he really enjoyed also. We didn't order pudding, as too full up! If I had to change one thing, it would be that there was a little more variety for puddings options but that's it! I give it a full 5 stars all round Theres a lovely chilled atmosphere too and a nice seating area outside for smokers etc. There's on site parking too and despite it being small, it fits a good few cars on so that's handy. Will definatley recommend it for a few beers of an evening too with a top atmosphere and great tasting beer! Will be going again 100%
Great atmosphere. Especially great when the footie is on, bar staff have great Banter with everyone I'm not a local. travel around originally from Scotland made feel very welcome here by staff and locals won't be long to my next visitFood: 5/5
