Took my dad for his 70th birthday for the first time, lifelong supporter but never been before he lives far away. Bought founders tickets to see the match,a bit more expensive but well worth it. Entrance via the founders bar. Greeted by the staff and introduced to a Sunderland legend,Micky Horswill, who took us into the stadium to see it pre-match. Thank you Micky. The founders bar isn't huge and does get busy. Friendly,welcoming and helpful staff. The seats were brilliant, just behind the Sunderland dugout. Obviously the stadium is amazing, atmosphere was perfect as you'd expect. Thankfully Sunderland won which made my dad's visit even more memorable. An amazing stadium and a great time had. HAWAY THE LADS!

We had the best time watching Sunderland win at the Stadium of Light!! I’ll admit, finding the entrance for our tickets was a bit confusing and it was odd our tickets weren’t in chronological order…but it didn’t take away from the energy at the stadium. It was my first English football game as well as first Premier League game. It all felt surreal at times but I was riding the excitement of all the fans around me. I can’t wait to come back for another game someday. Lots of love from Washington, DC!

Iconic stadium, great atmosphere. The stairs up to the away section have humorous comments on each flight which are needed to supplement your oxygen dept when ascending.  Don't attempt if you have a heart condition use lifts!Food ok but beer poor.

Iconic stadium and great atmosphere. I was 4-5 seat far from away fans which made my event unforgettable !!!

The venue itself is perfect. Unfortunately, the stewards inside helping you find your seats were absolutely useless. Guiding us to the wrong area, being told we had gone in through the wrong turnstiles, directing us back outside and telling us to go in the wrong turnstile which would have taken us even further away from our seats. Eventually, someone took is to roughly the correct area and finally a very nice English gent who was extremely pleasant and helpful pointed out our seats.nMost of the stewards need to learn where they are and some customer service skills.
