I've completed here many times in various athletic events and always enjoyed myself. The athletes and officials at these meetings really make for a great competition. There are a couple of things that let it down. The staff seem to have their hands tied when it comes to equipment failure, unable to act for seemingly minor problems. No baby change facilities and staff unable to help with any solution. When people bring their families along to support events this is a bit of a let down.
Went to the fun fair there and fireworks display which was a really good night
lovely sports facility in Monkton Village Jarrow. Gym with weights and cardio equipment available to users, indoors area for activities such as yoga, full size running stadium, changing room and showers, car park fitted with electric car charger. Also 5 aside football pitches situated on the rear of the stadium and also gravel and running circuit and grass pitch outside that can be used by none members for free.
Went for my son's American Football game. Pitch was good, running track's in good order too. Could do with a coffee shop rather than just a Klix machine! Maybe there's more on full match days!
Been to the sat morning badminton session here with my little girl, both she and myself enjoyed it, friendly staff great tutoring for newbies like us

Quite a small place for indoor fitness classes but still manages to get the essentials in. The car park definitely needs lighting though
Visit every Saturday for badminton coaching. Lovely welcoming staff , nice sports hall with hard service courts.
Great for all sports and gym workouts. Individual training in different activities if required. All sorts of events and fun days throughout the year and inter school competition's.
Two parking areas. One from stadium end and other a gravel one from lukes lane estate. Gets fairly busy. 70p to park in stadium side. All the football is at the gravel end so quicker to get to. Park in stadium end if bad weather as gravel end gets muddy along side the entrance along side of the pitches.
