The Community Association is a registered charity run by its members.
At the annual General Meeting, the members elect the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE , whose job it is to determine policies and rules. The Executive employs staff both directly and indirectly to carry out its policies and also appoints sub-committees to consider in more detail, major areas of its work.

Various local groups including Housing Co-Ops, Self Help Groups, Trade Unions etc. use the centre for meetings and social events. Councillors and Police surgeries are held at the centre.
