Every time I have been admitted to St Michael’s specifically ward 78, I have received outstanding care. Every single nurse & doctor in that place has the most excellent communication skills as well as emotional intelligence. I know in comparison to other hospitals they have less frequent emergency cases so can spend a bit more time with patients so it feels unfair for me to compare, however even just the empathetic touch of your hand whilst you’re struggling can make the world of difference, whether you have 15 seconds with someone or 15 minutes. They take your pain and circumstances seriously, and they know how to rectify medical gaslighting when it comes to women’s health. I’m so thankful for all the staff at St Michael’s, they have the toughest job in the world and yet somehow always have a smile on their face and open arms to embrace anyone that needs their help.
I was delivering in this hospital 3/12/2024. 16 hours in labour..3 different shifts changed during this time. Every shift of midwife’s were amazing. Such meticulous to details. They been close me every minute. Care and support such a great. Sorry dear midwife’s that I do not remember your names. Thank you Sophieif I remember amazing doctor who made me epidural anaesthesia and made my labour such a good experienceJust know that you are angels. Best wishes, Hanna, Daniel, baby Arthur
Jo Hassel, assisted me in the A&E she was so precise, kind and a knowledgeable. It had been so long since we received such good service from a staff at A&E. Jo is a credit to this hospital and a definition of what a nurse should be. Thank you for your kindness and understanding towards my eye.
I had the privilege of being at St. Michael’s Hospital twice—once when I gave birth 8 years ago, and now for colposcopy treatment. On both occasions, the experience has been nothing short of brilliant .nnThe staff, nurses, and doctors are incredibly caring and compassionate in everything they do. The way they run the clinic is so professional yet warm, and you always feel supported and respected. Their kindness and dedication make such a difference during what can be stressful times. I can’t thank them enough for the excellent care I’ve received!nnEspecially the lovely ladies running colposcopy treatment room. Thank you for looking after me today
Had my 2 beautiful daughters here amazing staff except the odd one but after being in for 4 weeks I got to know some of them and some midwifes were outstanding others are quick to rush and cut corners probably wouldn't choose to have another baby here as the the 2nd time wasn't as amazing as my first time here
