There is a strange beauty in the architecture of this church combined with surroundings, with those empty trees, walls with statues or the special fence, especially behind the building. From front, from main Kensington road, you can hardly see it, because of dense vegetation.
Stunning architectural building build in 19th century. Combined two styles: neo-Gothic and early English. Cozy and beautiful from inside too. Services are not overcrowded which is makes one of my favourite churches to attend masses.
Graceful and peaceful church. Lovely place in beautiful Kensington. Highly-recommend visiting the St Mary Abbots Church
Peace and tranquillity 10m from Kensington High Street. Rather special.
Beautiful church in the middle of chaotic High Street Kensington. A significant downside is that people - including staff - tend to have very loud conversations in the church. Peace and quiet is not always to be found.
Absolutely stunning gothic church. An architectural beauty Always leaves an impression when you see it
With the tallest spire in southeast England, St Mary Abbots is a nice and well cared for church. It’s almost always open and the architecture is quite nice and interesting both inside and out. It has a small gated area around with a lovely garden just outside. It’s always a pleasure to visit.
Very enjoyable Friday lunchtime concert by members of the Royal College of Music. Very professional, of course. Will come again & recommend.
Very modest, low key church that you might miss from busy Kensington. Lovely neo Gothic structure, and lots of nice stained glass. We passed by just before the 6:15pm organ recital on Sunday, so stopped in for a nice respite from a long day in London.
Wonderful old church in the Kensington Area close to High Street. Not crowded by Tourists providing a place of quiet rest and introspection. Loved it.
