The family run hostel is has a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff who will advise you on booking and travel arrangements.

The hostel accommodation is made up with Dorm rooms with 5/6/8 beds. There is a newly fitted Ikea style self catering kitchen, large lounge/dining room, TV/video room, DVD's and Nintendo Wii on the big screen, free tea and coffee, WIFIaccess. No curfew!

The staff were really helpful and friendly. But the place needs a really good scrub and some TLC. It's a very central location.

This place gives that intimate feel of a hostel. It is a great friendly place, with the right people. The facility itself is a bit small & minimalistic. However, it you don't mind, it comes at a low price. That helps.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The place is an embarrassment to St Andrews. Having stayed in many hostels around the world, I have to say this is amoungst the worse. The whole place needs a good clean and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. The rooms all had a bad smell and the mattresses were disgusting. It wouldn't cost the earth to get covers for them. Overall the place is nothing short of a health hazard. Stay away at all costs. You have been warned.

Room 2 smelled really bad. The hostel was ok in general.
