Large car park within 5 mins walk of town centre. Good sized parking spaces to help with getting in and out the car. There are 2 zones in the car park. Flexi-Stay or what most people would class as short stay and long stay. Make sure you use the correct machine or Ringo location.
Got to car park at 8.30 tapped my card to machine to start payment. Everything fine until I got back at 9.45. Machine was not working, so tried two more machines , they also rejected and cancelled my card. So as a good citizen I went onto app and payed for two hours. Thought I was doing good. But to my surprise they also charged me £9 for not checking out. Daylight robbery. I am a oap on a pension. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I never give a bad review, but this had to be said
Good car park, better than Angel Hill which is mostly always packed. Pay by app, phone, machine. RinGo. Both long stay and short stay on site.
No money payment machines , initially took time to adjust, now its easy to enter number plate and tap card, only bug bear is to retap at the end of stay, as otherwise will be paying for a long day. Have always managed to find a place to park the car...
Cheap long stay if you don't mind a bit of a walk into the town centre. Often very busy so often have to hunt for a space.
Exellent for me...alot of people are confused as the instructions cannot be seen in full sun on the screen and they try to put their Reg. No in to leave ...this creates long queues to check in or out..We stop to help others and find we go into another hour of parking fees..!!!
Hard to park nothing to say how many places are left so lots of people going around the 1 way to try and get a parking space.
Very busy not many disabled parking spaces .Not expensive to park
The usual problems with the ticket machines. Why not go back to something that works DISPLAY AND PAY ON EXIT.
Do not park here. My friend and I parked here in 2 separate cars and we both got a parking ticket here last weekend after paying by card at the machine and displaying the ticket in the windscreen. Only to find that both our cards had declined funny that they worked perfectly in BSE, disputed but they rejected the complaint. The ink was running out on the ticket and you would need a magnifying glass to read declined. A rip off if you wait 14 days to get to appeal stage 2 and if rejected again you get a £50 fine. Against my principle but I'll have to pay the £25. By the way its not clear on the machine how much and how long you can park for.
