Fantastic spontaneous day out with my son. Loads to see, you even get a scratch card you need to hunt the for the clues in the information boards. we had great fun trying to find them all. My son loved the sharks he was fascinated by them. Overall a great day out. Also note the new section out door is being built and it looks fantastic from the information.
Well what can I say about this place? I didn't ever think I would even go to st. Andrews, I'm glad we did because the aquarium was amazing. The staff were so kind from the beginning. They asked as if we had any questions that we wanted to ask. So friendly. So informative they also take blue like cards there NHS cards, student cards so there's a lot of chance to get concessions. It's not much off but sometimes it's just nice to have something a little bit off. So overall the actual aquarium was beautiful. The animals and the creatures were just really lovely. You just felt like you were part of the actual ocean. There wasn't just ocean animals there. There was also meerkats and these little monkeys there was also penguins there's also a gift shop which is reasonably priced and the lady in there was very friendly and helpful. I think the best bit for us was the actual jellyfish. I've got jellyfish Saturday. Oh my God it's so cool! Also I had clownfish and it looked like a sort of set up to finding Nemo and Dory so that was really good. There was also sort of seaweed and corals and just really just cool stuff. We actually went around it twice because it was so cool. There was lizards and snakes and spiders so they were fish but they were like sharks but like mini sharks they had a dogfish. They have a place. Flanders bass. There was so many little creatures. I definitely would like to go and visit back again cuz it was so good
I really enjoyed my visit to the aquarium. It's small but I spent a couple of hours viewing the animals and watching the feeding of penguins and sharks. The animals appear to be very well cared for and the staff seem to be passionate about their work. A couple of negatives: there was only one person on front of house so there were no hit drinks available and the aquarium is not the nearest. It has a slight air of neglect when you look past the exhibits. It could be cleaned and freshened up a bit.
A fine little aquarium.nMy wife and I visited on a Monday afternoon in cold February. No wait to get in. We took our time going over the various exhibits and was there for about an hour and 15 minutes.nWe knew it was a small aquarium, but I have to say the space is well used. We saw several fine creatures who were kept on good conditions. Of particular interest were the miniature caymans amd the stingrays. The meerkats and marmosets were very cute, though I'm not sure why they're at an aquarium!!nFor animal lovers this is a great place to visit. Highly recommended.
Love the aquarium, the animals always look happy and well taken care off. Staff are really nice and friendly and happy to chat away to you if you have any questions.nnThey are current getting a upgrade, that should be open by the end of the year, I will update my review then
