Called couple days before to check school jumper in size required was in. Assistant on phone said yes in stock. Arrived next day to collect though unfortunately the size I wanted wasn't in stock. The lady helping me said one would be posted out FOC and should be received with in 5 days. Not ideal but the jumper duly arrived 5 days later. Not too many school uniform shops in this area and have had so crazy times with queues etc in Choma Sports. I would definitely avoid the week before school starts as you'll be waiting outside for sure to even get a look in the shop.
They have you over a barrel, the only place to get school uniform yet it's rather overpriced considering the poor quality control. Already had two items replaced from new due to poor stitching already one seam not stitched at all, one stitching coming apart on three separate places after one wash. While they're happy to replace but that's not the point, whoever is actually manufacturing these for chroma needs to be much more proficient and needs much better quality control especially given the cost of the items, even George/Primark etc have better lasting stitching and that's from Chinese sweat shops allegedly.
Poor customer service, poor lead time and very expensive compared to other online retailers. Have had numerous orders just disappear into thin air, told that I would be called back and never have been.. the list goes on.
Young staff who have not got a clue on Customer Service but that's down to the people or person who's in charge. Went in to collect a couple of jumpers which I ordered in store. The young lass who served me asked can I help you, I replied I yes I got a phone call yesterday saying that the jumpers that I ordered and paid for here were in and she replied did you order in store or online & I replied as I said bought & paid for here & she replied was that online or in store. She did not understand the word HERE. I didn't at anytime say online. But she looked at me as I was the stupid one. She went out the back & in a few moments returned with the 2 jumpers and just plonked them into my hands and started to walk away, so I chirped up and said are they both medium sized jumpers, she said I would think so, so I said then I'd better check and do your job as you can't be bothered. She gave me a funny look and carried on dealing with other people. As I turned to walk out before I lost my temper , I saw a woman looking at me smiling and shaking her head and said to me, she's hasn't got a clue has she! I smiled at her and said Bucking help our country if she's ever in charge. Brexit did to order that in store or online.
Ordered school uniform 5 weeks ago and still waiting on the skirts, now have been told the date given will be November after sending a email as wasn't explained that we was still waiting on last few bits. This was not explained the few times we have already been to pick up parts of the order. Been told that they has been a huge demand and there is a delay not a great service since this is the only place we are now able to order school uniform from.
Ordered a pair of logo’d school trousers for my daughter - size 28/31. Paid an extra £6.50 for postage so in total £24. Received the trousers the next day but on trying them on, they were absolutely huge around the waist and leg length didn’t seem correct. I measured them only to find the waist was 32” and leg length 32” also! Telephoned the shop only to be told it’s not their fault but the fault of the manufacturer! I asked for a replacement pair at the correct size to what the label states and was informed they would send a replacement pair on receipt of the ones I received today. I asked if my postage would be refunded for the return and was told they’d send the replacements free of charge but the manager wasn’t about to clarify my return postage refund. Absolutely appalled at this service! Surely sizings should be checked as a matter of quality assurance at the retailer to save any inconvenience to the customer but I feel the customer isn’t valued here.
This is the most incompetent shop I’ve ever seen. We went there in person, half of the items needed were not in stock. They placed the order and when we went to pick it up, they had ordered completely different items than what we requested. I don’t recommend and it’s not fair that this is the only shop supplying school uniforms for the Peterborough area.
The only place we can source my daughters school uniform, but it's not a problem as the quality is good and I've always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, especially the young girl who served us on our most recent visit, unfortunately I didn't get her name.
Placed my order in store and was told it would be 1week. The young girl was very rude and it was evident that she was bored. If this wasn't the only place to order uniforms l would have not bothered. I didn't hear back and l thought l would give them time due to Covid 19. 2months no contact after paying in full, l rang and they said they are not fulfilling any orders and l would not receive my order for another month still not heard anything.
