Fantastic bike shop. I bought my Dawes Supergalaxy touring bike from them last Autumn after I had had a bad smash with my Boardman. I had been to another retailer to see if I could get my Boardman fixed and they told me that it would take several months to get the parts in. I bought the Supergalaxy as I needed a bike for getting around on and I had some trips planned. The Supergalaxy rides like a dream and is built for ample storage which makes it really handy for commuting. The shop have looked after the Supergalaxy ever since, they have always been there if something has gone wrong. I have also taken my Boardman in and they have been able to fix this as good as new and at a fraction of the time that I had been quoted elsewhere! I would definitely recommend.
I bought my single speed bike from decathlon a year ago and I came in to enquire about a service on my bike. They took it the next morning and had it ready by the end of the day with new brake pads and the chain properly tensioned. They do a quality job at a reasonable price! Feels even better than it did new! Would highly recommend! Will certainly be back for a service and any other bike related advice/work!
Dented a wheel on the way to work thanks to a pothole - grrr - took my bike in having been recommended by another repair shop that was closing down and Adrian had a replacement wheel and tyre on within a couple of hours. Excellent service! Very close to the city centre even if it is slightly off the beaten track. Proper, old school, bike shop!
Went to this place for the first time last week - after a dreadful experience with Evans Cycles in the city centre. Totally different experience - the chap fixed my son's bike quickly and was super helpful with my 12 year old helping him look at ideas for birthday presents! Great price too! We will definitely use this as our default bike repair shop in the future!
Bought a second hand bike from them for a reasonable price. Found a few issues which I brought back and they resolved for free. Excellent customer service and my new local shop for all my cycling needs :
Popped in to see if someone would be able to have a look at the gears on my bike. They were amazing and squeezed my in for same day fix!!! Awesome little find this place
I've been here two times and both I have been really happy, the guys who work here are really kind and very helpful. My bikes pretty old and they've managed to solve it's problems! Quick service and very well priced. Basically supply anything you could need, I will always come back here. Thanks again
I bought in my bike to get it repaired and they repaired it within a matter of hours. Great service and polite staff. Price is a bit expensive but they are quick and professional! Definitely recommend going!
This is by far the best bike shop I have been into! I went there many times and everything was done so quick and with a more than fair price! I just can recommend this bike shop to everyone who wants to take care of his/her bike! You really get all what you need and a friendly smile on top of it! :-
Great guys, nice to talk to and very understanding. I spent the entire day at Halfords trying to repair my broken crank which they ended up telling me they couldn't fix it so I rushed to these guys 10 minutes before closing and within 5 minutes my bike was back up and running. Absolute life savers and will definitely be going to these guys for future bike troubles.
