Story

Spray Shack Ltd is a family run vehicle body shop who are based on the standard way industrial estate in Northallerton.
We pride ourselves in offering a high quality of service, and can offer a range of repairs and paint work. This work includes anything from a minor repair to a full re-spray on your vehicle.
We are also able to carry out insurance work, so please feel free to get in touch with us before your insurance company and we will cover your excess of up to £250.
We offer very competitive quotes, all quotes are free of charge. Photos of repairs can be emailed either via our facebook site or through our email at [email protected] and we will get back to you with your quote as soon as we can.

what a fantastic job everybody who has seen my car since the incredible paint job has commented on how good it is this is going to star at japfest at silverstone in May see the difference before and after I cannot praise Andy and his crew highly enough

I have had to take my car to Andy a couple of times in the last 8 months. The first time was because someone reversed into the drivers side doors... my car was only 6 weeks old! Andy advised me that I needed a new drivers door and that he could repair the passengers door, he was extremely helpful and honest, he even gave me advice about dealing with the insurance. He also organised a courtesy car for me to fit in around the dates that he was able to carry out the repairs. The work was carried out in the time scale that he quoted and his work and communication with me was excellent. The second time my car went in was because someone had reversed into the tailgate whilst it was parked at a supermarket, the kind person drove away without leaving a note! However, I had taken out cosmetic insurance so wasn’t too annoyed, however the mobile repair company that came out to fix the dent did an appalling job, in fact it looked worse than it did with a dent in it... they also damaged the light clusters, the number plate and the badges with paint/primer, so I took it to Andy to put it right. He liaised with the mobile company on my behalf regarding payment for the damaged items and his work.  Both repairs were hassle free and he did a first class job... when I went to collect my car the second time I simply said “wow”!  I recommend him without hesitation and, personally, I won’t go anywhere else now should I ever need bodywork repairs doing again! Thank you

I needed to have a respray on my Smart Roadster as the paint was peeling and did not look very nice. It is now a collectors car and I love it and did not want to sell it. Seen Andy and was very helpful from the start. I had toyed with getting the car resprayed white as I knew it would look great but didn't think I could afford it. Andy gave me an option and it would work out cheaper than I thought. It made sense to go with full respray as peeling was likely going to spread to rest of car. I am so I glad I did : Andy has great attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics so when he suggested painting car in Mercedes arctic white it was a nice touch. As work was getting done, Andy offered to put in new light that was needed as car was stripped. Again nice touch. End paint job was better than original and whilst I had always been stopped about my car, and had fingers pointed at it, it now has increased greatly ; I have even noticed a few more cars like mine around since the respray. Simply put, the car looks fantastic and should I want/need to sell car, I would be able to sell at a good price, and quickly. Thank you Andy and Kirsty, great team and would definitely return here for anything bodywork on my much loved roadie.
