Visited store today, was about to make purchases then my baby was unexpectedly sick on her pram. Asked for assistance with cashier and was refused any help whatsoever. Luckily a lady on the shop floor used her initiative and got me a carrier bag and blue roll to clean my baby. Have not mafe any purchase today as dont believe in supporting business' that turn their backs on sick children in their store. The cashier in question needs to be retrained in custoner service and more importantly etiquette but I doubt she even knows what that means
Helpful staff. Got everything I needed. Parking outside too in large carpark
Good shop sales are great you can get stuff for a fiver
Staff eating behind the till nearly every time I go in… bit disgusting really save it for your break?
Faultless cleanliness and organisation in the Covid world. In the 10 minutes or so I was there I saw at least two different members of staff cleaning various surfaces and helping other customers to keep appropriate distances. Whatever your thoughts on Sports Direct as a company they've got that right. In terms of products and whatnot.. it's what you expect, good choice of branded options and plenty of cheaper alternatives of reasonable quality.
Took my Grandson for so.e football clothing and boots. The young man in there was very helpful.Sale on as well so good prices for named clothing etc.
Due to an Achilles tendon problem, I need to wear training for support. A friend recommended Sports Direct. I've not worn trainers in about 30 years and hadn't a clue. The young guy I picked on was great. He explained about the different types of trainers, running shoes, how the different soles support the foot, everything. I tried the converse memory foam shoes and OH MY GOD!! Its the first time in a year I've walked without pain. I am so very grateful for the time he took helping me. I would recommend anyone to go there.
Its mehhh hard trying to find somebody to help you Another shop that gets kids in on the cheap to run the stores. Saves Mike Ashley a few quid but makes your shopping experience that little less pleasant. Asked an assistant to see if they had some trainers in in a size 9 I was met with a "tut" because they were on texting at the time....
Unhelpful staff who even lie about your opening times than try to be helpful. Asked if they had any short fit ladies trousers but was told I don't know and we are closing now. Another member of staff told me that closing was not for half an hour but still could not bother himself to answer my question. Appalled
Good store based in consett. But some of the prices are far to expensive. Helpful staff and friendly staff
