I really wanted this to be good & it is wasn't for the cleanliness levels & disrepair it would have been OK for the tenner it cost, but my word, it's another level of repulsive. We left early as I couldn't bare to spend another moment standing on whatever many years of filth was under me. Dirty nappies in changing rooms, rotting doors to the cubicles, there aren't the words to explain how vomit inducing this place is. I imagine once upon a time it was a masterpiece. It needs shutting down for a month & industrial cleaning to remove the years of mould & rot. It's not been maintained to appropriate levels which will ultimately result in a huge loss for the local community for something we has the potential to be good.
I went their with my daughter after paying for my car to park then we got the news we couldn’t swim because of the lessons even though they were open on the website.nnNo one come their after 3:00PM on WEDNESDAYS because the same tat happened to me will happen to you!
Been a few times and really enjoyed itnHowever today was awful! Thw chlorine levels were to high. Everyone was coughing, there was even a girl having an asthma attack because of it. My eyes were stinging! Several other families in the showers were also complaining of the same thing!!nI also placed my sons 2 sinky toys, that he couldn't play with due to the chlorine taking everyone's breath away at the side of the pool where everyone leaves towels and crocs etc... to find someone had took them when we were ready to leave!! We did a quick search and scanned the pool but they were gone!! Not just being borrowed.nHave still give 2 stars as wave pool is fun and the pools weren't freezingnIts definitely put us off returning
Found Splash to be clean. Friendly staff.nThe swimming pool and changing cubicle clean.nTheys showers near the pool and also a single shower in the ladies toilets.nOn a personal note found the water temperature of the shower to hot for me,as they are not temperature controlled to regulate.
The gym is good, god stuff in the swimming for kids but the cleanliness leaves alot to be desired. The private showers are a disgrace and really let's it down.
