Visited on a Sunday and had a fantastic roast. The food was clearly homemade and delicious. I also ordered the pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese on the side. While the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery, it still had a great flavour. Overall, I'd highly recommend the food here!
Just get in! Great pub, heaving. Dog friendly. Tasty pints, quiet beer garden. Lively snug, Available pool table, sports on TV. Even Stone Roses appreciated. Well done! See you again soon
We were out for a walk with my daughters dog and decided to pop in for lunch. Dogs are welcome in the bar. Service was friendly and the pub grub was good and plenty of choice. The bar was quiet, but it was a Thursday lunchtime.nnIt's also a very short walk to Dyce train station.
We arrived at lunch time. Atmosphere was nice and cozy, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really good. We both had chicken goujons and the portion was fairly large. The batter was a bit heavy and a little bit too oily but it all seemed very freshly cooked and the coleslaw and salad and chips were all very fresh as well. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was very tasty.nVisited again more recently. Again it was a good experience. Had the steak pie this time and my husband had the special - beef Stroganoff. Both were really tasty. nUpdate...... Went for a meal on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was welcoming. All the dishes we had between a family of 4 were REALLY good. Staff friendly and helpful as always.
Stopped by here to eat and drink while visiting relatives.nGood varied menu, drinks were fine and the other patrons were lovely and chatty. Had a good buzz.nA bit tired in decor but absolutely functional.
