We arrived at lunch time. Atmosphere was nice and cozy, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really good. We both had chicken goujons and the portion was fairly large. The batter was a bit heavy and a little bit too oily but it all seemed very freshly cooked and the coleslaw and salad and chips were all very fresh as well. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was very tasty.nVisited again more recently. Again it was a good experience. Had the steak pie this time and my husband had the special - beef Stroganoff. Both were really tasty. nUpdate...... Went for a meal on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was welcoming. All the dishes we had between a family of 4 were REALLY good. Staff friendly and helpful as always.

A great pub to be.nHas variety of drinks.nLocated very close to the Dyce railway station nYou can chill there while you wait for the train.
Service was OK, just a pity about the food, liver was not prepared properly as it still had the tough membrane skin around it and the knives were too blunt to cut it. Chicken gouchons looked great but the batter was still dough inside. Cheesecake base would of needed power tools to get through so it got left. On the good side the sticky toffee pudding is very good.nBackground music where we sat was rather loud.
Stopped off for a drink before my train after a long haul flight Asia. Staff were very polite and helpful and even allowed me to start a tab at my table as I was about to order Sunday lunch. Nice warm/cosy and inviting pub if your about to travel onwards as so close to the train station Dyce.
