First visit here was on a whim for a Sunday roast, and it may have been one of the best roasts I’ve ever had in my life. The service is incredible, and even though I didn’t extensively converse with the waiter blonde, died, short hair, male? the service still felt personalised and quick. The bartender clearly knew exactly what they were doing as you can quickly tell through the amazing negronis. Regarding the food, the beef is the best hands down I have ever had - cooked beautifully with an incredible crust. The one and only constructive criticism I have is simply that the roast potatoes could be a bit crispier no big deal!. Atmosphere is chic with a relaxed vibe.
We’ve been visiting No.10 for years — family dinners, celebrations, special occasions and it has always been a place we trust and enjoy. That’s why today’s experience was honestly shocking.nnI ordered the vegan apple crumble and paid £10. What arrived looked nothing like a dessert that should be served in a restaurant of this level: just very dry sliced apples with crumble on top. The apples were extremely dry and almost inedible.nnThank you for the scoop of ice cream that was the only part of the dessert I actually ate.nnI very rarely leave negative feedback, but this felt genuinely disappointing, especially because we know how good your kitchen normally is. If anyone is considering ordering the vegan apple crumble, unfortunately I cannot recommend it at all.nnWe truly love No.10 and will keep coming back, which is why I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Today was the first time we left feeling upset rather than happy.
This was my third visit to No.10 and I honestly can't fault it. Each time I've been for a Sunday roast, and each time they get better and better! My family opted for the roast beef, the roast chicken and two ordered the burgers - and not a single complaint.nnThe burgers were huge! and served in a brioche bun, with fries. One upgraded to truffle parmesan fries and loved these too. The two roast beef dinners were absolutely delicious, and had massive pieces of beef! The beef was so tender and perfectly cooked. The gravy is honestly one of the best I've had. Great selection of vegetables, and it came with roast potatoes, skirlie and yorkshire pudding too. The roast chicken dinner was delicious too, and so big, we had to box it up to take it away. It came with the same sides as the beef.nnWe also ordered some sides with the roast bacon mac and cheese, parmesan cauliflower cheese and maple pigs and blankets. We thought the mac and cheese and cauliflower cheese could be a bit more cheesy, as we felt it wasn't extremely strong - but this is a personal preference, they were still good. The pigs and blankets went down well too!nnWe ordered two desserts The sticky toffee pudding and the creme brulé, and shared them among 5 because we were so full after eating our mains, but wanted to try them!, and again, everyone thought these were so tasty!nnI ordered the red wine that pairs with the roast beef, and it's also an incredibly good match and really smooth to drink.nnStaff were fantastic too. Food was a bit slow to come out, but the restaurant was extremely busy - so we understood that might be the case. The atmosphere was good, a little loud, but not so bad you can't talk amongst each other. I think it's a great vibe!nnThere's plenty of parking outside the venue. I think you may need to pay during certain hours, as I saw parking pay machines. There are steps to get down to the venue, and I do not think they provide accessible access As I did not see a ramp or a lift, but I could be wrong.nnOverall, I highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back again.
On our most recent visit we were in the private dining room for a celebration dinner. The staff were very attentive, the food again excellent - every dish. They were quick to accommodate a pre-order error we had made. The restaurant was very busy but they made sure to check in and refresh our drinks frequently. A perfect evening.
Lovely evening - very welcoming, and great service. Table was a little dark, but our eyes adjusted, as the wine flowed! We all enjoyed our food although we'd have preferred the batter without turmeric, haddock was delicious and cooked perfectly. Chips would have been preferred over the chunky wedges personal preference tartare was lovely as were the mushy peas. Kudos to the waiting team - really super, it's appreciated.
